MSI GTX 1050 ti 4GB - Unboxing/Overview - iBuypower WA550b

This is an unboxing of my new gpu that i got from newegg to upgrade my current one with this one, My pc is an iBuypower wa550b black gaming edition that came with a MSI GT 730 2GB gpu and i decided to upgrade to a MSI GTX 1050 ti 4GB Gaming X. It cost around 171.00 usd. I have already installed it and it is definitely a boost in graphical performance.
In the video i said i would do a comparison video which i did try to do but everytime i looked back at the footage i recorded with OBS and the gt 730 it looked so laggy and i don't understand why because while playing it looks totally normal, Sorry i could not do a comparison video but maybe i can show how this gpu runs some of the games i play.

I have the same PC as you & planning on buying this graphics card too. If I do upgrade it what else do I need to upgrade in my PC?(if you don't know what PC I got it's an ibuypower wa550b)

The only thing bad about this pc (I have the same one) is that you will need a new power supply because 350w is not enough to run the card with the other components. Secondly the power supply that is in there has no PCI connectors. I would recommend doing what I did and getting EVGA 600w power supply. I personally upgraded my PC with 16gb of ram now and 2tb of storage and a GTX 770 SC 2GB which surprisingly is better than a GTX 960!

One question. Do you think that graphics card would run american truck simulator and grand theft auto 5 smooth in 1080p? I have the same computer as you and i wanna upgrade as well but i was thinking of getting a gtx 970 with a 600watt power supply but im not to sure yet. Whats your opinion?

It should be able to run it smooth on medium settings for GTA 5, probably want to upgrade the CPU though or get an SSD drive

I would and i plan on upgrading to the fx-8350 or fx-9590 they are both 8 core vs the 4 core on the pc now.

you should definitely upgrade to the core i3 6100 ASAP. I have the same pc and the cpu will probably bottleneck your gpu a descent amount
