I love the tapered collet and the simple jig you've made for it's drilling Burf! The Trail Tool is a heft beast indeed and I'm enjoying seeing what goes into it :-)...now to watch the other 13 mins!
Excellent! Looks like a wonderful useful tool and very well made. One suggestion when drilling the sleeves on your jig: get yourself a foot pedal air valve and set up a stiff tube you can point at the place to blow on. Noticing you reaching for the air line for every hole. Great video and inspiring, thanks.

What is the spray for before the welding of the collar to the plate?
Thanks bobhope! It's anti spatter. It helps to stop the little bits of weld spatter sticking to the plate and reduces clean up time after welding.
