I'm from Philippines and my mom got her reading glass from an Indian doctor in my city for free. The Indian communities here in my city are very helpful. Our city even celebrated Diwali every 1st week of November🤗

I was born in the USA And raised there for 12 whole years. After my mom told me that my dad had a business project in India and we were moving there, initially I was very unhappy. I yelled and screamed at them begging for us not to go there. Why? Because all my life, so so many people influenced my way of thinking about India. They said things like "India is the land of slums!" Or "Indians don't have the capability to think straight." These words that people told me slowly started making me feel that India indeed was just what they said. But, after moving here I have met so many friends of mine who support me day after day. The teachers of India are WAY More serious when it comes to teaching and always make sure that we are excelling in our studies, including me, who is a foreigner in their country. Personally, I prefer the Indian education system. In India, people are so so friendly.. You can make out by the way they speak. Many memes and jokes are made about India online on the internet. And to those people- I just know that they don't truly feel anything towards other countries or their own country.
Heck, even my dad told me that he has never seen such hardworking and effecient employees in an office.
I really love what you said about focusing on the Positive things, and I 100% agree! India is a land of diversity, with beautiful culture (Like, REALLY Beautiful 💜💜) and delish food. India has it's problems, but the government here is working hard to face them. And I know, that one day, these problems will be in the past. India, I love you ❤ thank you for everything.. Now that I'm going back home.. I'm gonna really miss this place...

As an Indonesian, I approve that India's culture is a part on shaping our national identity. We have similarities on skin colour, religions, art, architecture, and even developing our caste system in ages past. Also, India is one of 7 countries that recognizes indonesia as a country. It is unfair to assume them as stupid, knowing that they have such meaningful impact on the rest of the world. Love India from Indonesia!
Edit: thanks everyone! I didn't expected a lot of replies but glad it did. I hope this further strengthens our bond with India as well as other countries and cultures in the world. Hiduplah Indonesia Raya!

Here in Philippines, Indian's Microfinance businesses known as "5-6" helps a lot of filipino start their own small businesses . 5-6 means you owe 500 and you will pay 600 later because of its 20% interest. Despite of bigger interest, people still prefer this service because of fast, convenient and indiscrimanatory unlike bank which is has too many requirements and they dont offer loans to poor. In my city, Indians' microfinance alone helps in creating the wet market where I often shop. Even my parents retail business existed because of Indian's microfinance.

So I disagree with the title. India has history and even it's people are very respected and loved. Since Arabs share a long history with India we always say it's one of the most beautiful and oldest civilizations and till this very day we hear stories of our grandparents dealing trades with Indians. They are so underrated honestly.

@@bullempire6612 the problem also comes from Tamilians trying to prove they are superior than other races in India. It’s a two way thing. Also, GDP wise, MH is $497 billion, TN is 2nd at $297 billion followed by GJ at $270 billion, and KN $256 billion, and UP $255 billion. So when you say TN is far ahead than other states in GDP, but the statement is not true, it only shows how once again you are trying to falsely prove some kind of superiority, which is why there is a divide.

fun fact: when India wasnt free from the British, the snake and ladders game was made. It was called Paramapadam or Mokshapat
the snakes represented the bad values which bring you down in life, while the ladders were good values that helped you rise in life. when the British ruled, they even LIKED this game so much they took it back to England. As time passed, the bad and good values were forgotten and only the snakes and ladders were kept

1.Nikholas Tesla was inspired by swami Vivekananda and his teaching of ancient vedas which were more than thousands of years old. The scientific knowledge of vedas has helped Tesla in creating most of his inventions
    2. Though western scientists discovered the existence of planets, sun and moon just few hundred years back , Indian astronomy which was dated more than thousand years back has already recorded their existence
    3. Number zero was invented by Indian brahmagupta in 650AD, decimal system, binary numbers, numerical notations, Fibbonacci numbers, algorithms have been in use in ancient India way before any western scientists has discovered them.
    4. Sushruta Samhita ’s most well-known contribution to plastic surgery in 6th century
5.Acharya Kanada an ancient Indian natural scientist and philosopher, formulated the theory of atoms 2500 years before John Dalton's discovery.
    6. Temples of ancient India built thousands of years ago were built with 5 elements and the energy from that source causes positive energy to flow through your meridians
    7. Long before the birth of Hippocrates, Charaka authored a foundational text, Charakasamhita, on the ancient science of Ayurveda. Referred to as the Father of Indian Medicine, Charaka was was the first physician to present the concept of digestion, metabolism and immunity in his book.
There are many more items but I just wanted to limit the list to very important things

I wish all the very best to project nightfall to keep helping all the people to make our society happy and Peace full with the culture i feel great and proud of! ( sorry for the spellings )

I agree with you bro but this is our past. Dwelling on the past won't help. Our present conditions aren't good( on a country level). People's mindset are fucked up and politics and religious bigotry combined with pseudoscience and those "baba" who know "everything" is killing our society. We need to understand this and improve. People think development is all about building structures and doing scientific advancement but it's more than that.
Our past was great but not everything our ancestors said need not be necessarily true( don'tt get me wrong, I am not against it.)We have to combine modern science and psychology with our ancestors findings which will make India a superpower. But many think that combining modern day science will ruin our culture which is absolutely false. Many people seemingly do it and it seems they are destroying our culture in reality, they are just rejecting one thing for another.

Most of the foreigners hate india because they're frustrated by us. We indians never show a weaker side of ourselves to foreigners and we have a "We don't give a F" attitude towards racists. Take an example: The black community will take serious action against racists who use the N word, East asians also express their feelings when being called small eyes or whatever racist comments, this gives pleasure to that racist person who's doing this irl but when being called a curry or tech scammer we Indians always laugh it off therefore frustrating the racists. So they attack us using online platforms/news channels when they can't do a shit irl.

India - The country of lRl lAl lPl lEl

  • @PralaynathGendaswami
    @PralaynathGendaswami 2 ปีที่แล้ว +128

As an Indian, Let me be straight forward while pointing out the goods and bads
    The goods of India:-
    - Unity in diversity:- Though the major religion in India is Hinduism, yet other religions like Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Zoroastrainism, Buddhism, Jainism etc. Coexist peacefully. Talking about races, we do have many races we have
    • Browns- Almost every where
    • White- Anglo Indians
    • Blacks- Andaman and Nicobar Islands
    • Yellows - North East India
    • Indo-Aryans- North and West India
    • Dravadians- South India (Majorly)
    - Landscapes- We have mountains, we have desert, we have tropical forests, we have rain forests, we have plateaus, we have beaches, we have coasts, We have rivers..we have places that are always cold and we have places that are always hot.. we have places that are always raining and we have places where you can experience all kinds of weather.
    - Food:- No, not only spicy food, There are many places where food is so bland, even bland mouthed would ask for spices..and so diverse rang of food, from Kebabs of Lucknow to momos and Thukpa of North East, From Butter Chicken of Punjab to chiken Chettinad of Tamil Nadu. From Phaphda, Thepla and Ondiyo of Gujarat to macher Jhol, Poshto Aaloo and Wide range of sweets from West Bengal.. India is the land of cuisine
    - Cheap:- Well, at the cost of a private get together in a developed country, you can organise almost a Tomorowland kinda even in India. Well, in 10$ you can travel, eat and buy stuffs.
    - Treating guests:- "Atithi devo bhava" is the motto when dealing with tourists.. It means, Guests are gods..
    Bads:-
    - Differences:- though there is Unity in diversity, yet Differences are their. Casteism, sexism, classism still exist here
    - Poverty:- well you know about it
    - Lackadaisical Public sector:- the public sector in India is time taking and much more complicated compared to western countries.
    - Traffic :- Almost GTA in real life (But you can't just kill anyone, if cops catch you, You don't wanna end up in Indian jails, Do you)
    Population: with density as well
    - Brutal Police:- Well, Cops are not very Brutal, often are corporative.. But in many instances they take bribe and can brutally thrash you for an offence as trivial as overspeeding.. among us Indians there is a stereotypical joke regarding Indian police.. If you overspeed in USA the cops will be like:- Sir, I'll have to book a ticket since the limit here is 50 miles and your speed was 55. And in India: "abe o, bike kyun Uda raha hai, Tere Baap ki Shaadi Hai kya?" (Hey moron, why are you rushing with your bike, Is it your dad's wedding??)🤣🤣
    - Pollution :- The air quality of many places including the national capital- New Delhi, is critical.. and not only air, even noise, food and Water pollution are there.. (A tip for tourists, Do go for filtered or packaged mineral water since tap water is not safe here)
So here are some goods and Bads so that you all can make your decision.. But remember one thing.. Indians love guests and you'll have a great time that's for sure
    Namaste 🙏

I'm a half Indian, raised in Malaysia. It's because of hindi belts. You may think I'm stereotyping few states but that's the truth.
Why do you think Asians call Indian smell curry huh? Most of these hindi belt people don't have any sense of hygiene. They don't even shave their body hair in arm pits. I've met guys who don't even take bath for a week. Like those are the most disgusting people I've ever seen in the country.
Lack education and public health is big problem among these hindi speaking states. As much I've traveled inside the country, North east states are the most clean and well mannered people in India more than South Indian. South India has developed infrastructure, but the cities still need a lot to work on their systems.
Western states are kinda OK but it's just the same as if not more than hindi belts.
So I will not sugarcoat Indians or lie for fake patriotism. I'm not sangi nor a liberal to curse India or praise it. India is both. We need change. And that will never happen unless cowbelts gets educated.

@@indraneelmenon Absolutely valid point! But we could utilize this level of man power to enhance in a lot of fields. As of now, Bollywood (may it be good or bad for you) is HUGE solely because of that reason. Even in the field of education, if we manage to educate most of the people in our country then we could literally move towards being a super-power. But all of this is UNREALISTIC until it is really done. The cultural and religious diversion between the people of India also creates a lot of issues. So yeah giving it a second thought, lesser population would be much better tbh:))

    As An Indian,
India Definitely Has Many Things To Develop BUT,
India In Itself Is A Small World. Even Indians Themselves Are Unknown To Thousands Of Things In India.
So Brave Of Anyone, ESPECIALLY An Outsider To Imagine They Could Judge Or Criticise The Country From 2 - 3 Clips.
Cause Even If It Wouldve Been Said As A Funny Statement But Uts True,
"That Is Not Fir Begginers". ❤

@sharerofcontents 2.0 Well I think one of the reasons why the taxes are so high is because Canada offers free health care.
