    Just got a 2023 KTM 350 EXC-F. Its awesome, but I still love my KLX300R. I have the PCV and Pro Circuit. Highly recommended. KLX is just an awesome machine.

    I love my 300r I maybe I’m getting old but I prefer it over my RM250…it’s an all around great machine

    So where do you find the YZ250X performs better then this bike? I have the 300R and love it and want to add the YZ to my collection next year. I can also vouch that a slip on, fuel tuner and pair valve delete really give this bike some life. Love the content of both bikes.

      As far as trail riding goes, it's like comparing a mule with a stallion when I compare it to my YZ250X. The KLX goes longer on a tank, and it is capable of doing gnarly and rugged climbs at a slower pace than the YZ because the KLX is like a tractor. This makes it a great adventure bike that I can also use for dirt bike camping trips carrying my backpacking gear. It's also good for smaller jumps. I've hit many jumps with the YZ catching 2M air to flat on the YZ, which bottoms it out, but wouldn't recommend more than 1M air to flat on the KLX. I was also pleasantly surprised with the KLX's top speed. The gearing on it really is just perfect. The KLX300R is just a great all-around dirt bike. Only thing it really sucks at is getting through the mud haha. The YZ250X is built for speed and is a totally different animal.

      @@endurobandit yup ! love the low end torque on the klx, never had problem with mud ,always seemed to just go through anything , but i stuck a 120 tire on the back !

    I live in Medellin Colombia and we have a real shortage of choices of dual sport of enduro bikes. None of the smaller ones have torque. I belong to a group of riders and we do about 70% road and 30% dirt. Wanted to know if this bake can do this? Also, someone here turned a new 300 KLR into Enduro dual sport and I need to ask if he put ignitions as in a key necesarry to start. My biggest question is I have a 31-inch inseam The seat is tall like the Honda 300 XREs. But on those bikes, once you get on it the suspension is soft and I get most of both my feet on the ground. Does this bike have a sag like that? Thanks ahead of time!!!

      These KLX’s make great dual sport bikes. The KLX300SM is better suited for that with it’s taller gearing and lower seat height. I can touch the ground with both feet on my 300R but it’s definitely taller than a Honda. Also, those Hondas are sacrificing some of the off-road suspension performance to give you the plushness. These green bikes will eat the Honda 300’s for breakfast on road or trail haha

    What brush guards do you have? I just got a klx300r 2023 and am having a hard time finding ones that say they fit the 2023

    • @endurobandit
      @endurobandit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are MSR Evolution Handguards, But Moose Contour Handguards are the same thing. Anything that is for 7/8" bars should fit the bike.

    Coming off the yz , how do you feel about the klx?

    • @endurobandit
      @endurobandit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Feels tame compared to the wildcat YZ haha. But comfortable and fun nonetheless!

      @@endurobandit fairly good on the single track? I’m wondering if I could give up my yz and move to the klx but reluctant to make the move.

      @@jeremiahmurphymedia4487It’s great on singletrack. I gotta say though, no contest against the sound and snap of a 2-Stroke YZ. I’d recommend watching my full review of the KLX300R that I made earlier this winter.

    In what gear are you doing these hill climbs ?

    • @endurobandit
      @endurobandit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on the climb, but 2nd gear is the best for most hillclimbs.
