Most cartiges on market is 0.25mm length. Does the needl has to be longer to penetrate 0.5mm or do the setting somehow ensures the 0.5mm penetration depth?
That lockout mechanism is great so cheap n nasty providers won’t reuse cartridges however I’ve already lost a few perfectly good unused cartridges because the base of cartridge turns so easily and u can get locked out without even having attached skinpen.
@@ariyan5697 not FDA approved but DrPen. A MedSpa I go to uses that one and it allows for the same depth. Other than that I’m debating on purchasing this one used to compare.

If you want an excellent machine that will last you a lifetime, look at the Derminator by Vaughter Wellness; it’s the most powerful microneedling device in my opinion, and I’ve tried many
we use this pen in our surgery office :) I do like the cartridge lock feature although ive had some mid serice just fall out and you have to open a new skin pen box to get another which wastes supplies and money

@@vaniali1510 you can't really compare a medical grade device to Dr pen- a device accessible to anyone. Also i've worked with both devices and you really get what you pay for.
FDA means that its approved by the government thats in control of the food and drug administration. you can't work on clients unless your pen is FDA approved for safety purposes

After watching I’m very concerned about the training esthetician’s get prior using this. I felt she rushed through my procedure. This is not something to play with! I was left with multiple scratches.
Totally annoying. I am literally on my 4th cartridge right now !!! trying to get this damn thing to work and fit!! You guys made a crappy product that locks out repeatedly and wastes our money on spent cartridges that we never even used! . It does not matter if it works well if I have to spend $100 on wasted cartridges every time i use the damn thing. Does it even make sense to you guys that people have to watch this video every time to use a stupid device??!! You guys have known about this issue for years and have done nothing to fix the issue!!. I have had it for 2 years and I am still back here watching this video yet again, and losing cartridges and wasting hours of my time. Invest in designing and selling a device that actually is reliable . . . .instead of making videos that tell people who already paid for the product how to hopefully get it to work without losing more money. All this time… You guys have not changed anything or reimbursed anyone or upgrade our devices to a better working unit. Shameful

There’s only one speed with skin pen. The only variant is the depth. 0.5mm-2.5mm
It consistly runs at 7000 RPM. You don't change that, just depth.

Why some people bleed when doing microneedle?, I wonder if she is going deep into the skin because or is she using a better pen o what.
It is completely normal to bleed, you should not bleed too tho. It has nothing to do with the devices but the needle length and number

Great technique but her skin looks pretty dry throughout the treatment you barely used any serum. Why?
You can’t use a thick layer of serum because it will clog the machine.

I've found that numbing a patient for 40 minutes with a 20% lidocaine compound is most comfortable :)
