I absolutely love the texturing in this composition. I would love to hear the S2 and A lines come out a little more in the mix in some places because what's there is lovely!
This is a harshly phrased comment, and I wonder why. Even if the music and words are familiar, what's your aim in calling them "trite" when the music is both quite nice and the message timeless in its value? And while I also would prefer something other than Latin, calling that choice "pretentious" makes some assumptions. There could be all kinds of reasons that Latin was chosen, and until you know the reason, it's jumping to conclusions to say it's pretentious.
This is so absolutely beautiful-both music and text. We need more of such peace-loving gesture. Thank you!

wow.
sentimental
Good performance. Didn't care for the composition itself though -- trite music, trite words. And having them in Latin is a pretentious cliché.
Tell it to hundreds of composers who composed in Latin for hundreds of years :D but suddenly it's pretentious in 21st century
Go and take several seats... take a pill and a chill pill
