I was going to buy A Plague Tale Requiem physically. I’m not going to now, as i’m not paying full price for a new gen game that’s not 60fps. I’m glad it’s on GamePass and 40fps (120hz) mode on SeriesX seems to be the best way to play on console
So stoked about this! It was a game pass find for me and as soon as I played it I couldn’t wait for the sequel.
Just finished the game myself and couldn't agree more what a ride it was. Riveting story moving suspenseful and woeful at times even. All around greatest gaming experience of 2022 for me personally so far.
I just started a new job and getting my first check this Thursday, definitely gonna pick this up I’ve been so hyped !!
Update on the game? Also congrats on your new job
@@bankaispirits Thanks bro ! I actually get paid this Thursday, so I haven’t even got the game yet
Wow! Really happy about this! Better than Elden Ring though? I can't even believe that ....
Allot games I would put ahead of Elden Ring decent game but not on the level of Bloodbourne.
I'm still playing it, currently on chapter 12. But so far the game it's amazing, and it rivals what Sony's studios have been able to put out.
Asobo came out of nowhere with this IP kicking a**.
Fellow gtx 980 owners, the new patch 1.3 brings AMD FSR. With it you are able to scale down the resolution and the game becomes way more playable. Try the option balanced but do not be afraid of lowering it for some levels.
Looking forward to enjoying this game through PC gamepass soon😀
Finally got around to rolling credits on this one. Literally improves on the first game (already remarkable) in every way. Absolutely breath taking
Matt forgot Elden Ring released this year.
Edit: I'm just playing through this game and I just want to say how great it is. It's definitely up there with one of the best story driven games I've played in a long time.
Played both, this beats Elden ring for me
Started playing this on gamepass and within the first 2 hours felt guilty I didn't pay for it, I quess high engagement on gamepass is considered a win for Microsoft and the devs.
Absolutely love it.
Don't feel guilty. Microsoft have already compensated the developer well for including it on Gamepass.
Haven't played yet but based off your review in terms of visual quality, the world created and some of the gameplay mechanics, it reminds me of Horizon Forbidden West (which is a big compliment given how visually stunning that game was)
i am seriously hyped to start this game at midnight. i managed to finish APT Innocence the day before it left game pass and i loved it
Switch your time zone to new Zealand and you can play
@@ryanradcliffe9756 genius. might have to do that right now
@@travisace I do that for all global midnight releases, get to play them a day early
Time to visit New Zealand
The first one was literally a walking simulator and I don't mind them but the combat felt very barebones and to me it just seemed like every other hour there was a chase sequence and they got old super fast
It was a pretty mid game to be honest and this one doesn't seem to have improved much.
Like a lot of Sony games that are endlessly praised
@@notchedbandit I disagree to a small degree. This game seems to have improved combat and now has a moral implication to a higher degree. Of course I won't know for sure until I play it tomorrow. So you may be completely correct. I do know that I am way more interested in this game than the first.
The second game is worse than the first in almost every way.
It always hits different when games are made with love and not just as a way to fatten up the shares ❤
This is one of the best video game series ive played in a long time. My daughter who is young even got crazy into the story.
Wow….even over Elden Ring Matty?!?! That’s a big statement!
That hidden upgrade system has me excited!
Man idk about GOTY Elden Ring was near perfect.
First game that's made me cry since rdr2 shit was 10/10 couldn't reccomed it enough
I always round-up reviews with yours. All the best.
Only played first game for 5 minutes and then uninstalled not my type of game. Glad people have at least something to play on Gamepass.
This is great news. It’s feels like a similar moment when Uncharted 2 or the last of us came out. This level of storytelling that really makes it stand out and hopefully will for a king time.
