Just got one of these and brought it out to the Austin Helibash to get it tuned in. What headspeed are you running and are you running the stock 17 tooth pinion and 8.05 ratio? I’m running a 105 not sure if it would be different or not? Thanks!
1980 is perfect for an OS engine with that gear ratio, 105 or 91 are the same in terms of RPM. You have the right gear ratio at 8.05, the perfect RPM to put the motor where the most power is will be about 1950, but I run a bit higher so when I load it, it falls into the power band.
@@HuevosAzules Oh lol. Sorry! They're both great machines, can't go wrong with either way, the Tron 50 is an amazing little heli and so is the Nimbus. I would base that decision on whether you have already an XL Nimbus, if you do, then some of the parts are interchangeable.
….and Nitro continues on. Really happy to see manufacturers still investing in and developing awesome helicopters with engines.
Verry nice flight Bert.
Nice machine too.
Love nitro
Amzing flying Bert! Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Bert!
That auto counter rotation from inverted was insane... I always wondered if it would have enough head speed for it.. So solid
Heck yeah! Great job!
Bert you’re awesome!
great flight!!!!!! Nice helicopter

Bret what about Guai helicopter
Guai doesn’t exist. If you mean GAUI, they’ve been out and not relevant for years. So no comparison.
@@BertKammerer I can still get parts for my Gaui helicopter from Taiwan
Nimbus 550 Nitro or Tron Nitro? :D
This is a 90, not a fair comparison.
@@BertKammererIsn't there a nitron 50 too. I think that's more what they were asking
