You should breakdown/rank common doll collection tropes (school line, sleepover line, halloween line, etc). I never even noticed how common sleepovers were, and I find it pretty funny.

The sleepover line is always a fun doll line to me since its like a more fashionable approach to something that wouldn’t usually be fashionable to some people lmao
A doll line I notice way to much personally is either lines involving babies/siblings or tie-in with other brands such as the Tweety Bird/Barbie doll line.

As soon as I saw this, I knew which one would be your number one 😂 I don’t know if I said this before, but it’s really interesting to me that the Electrified line reminds me of the Mattel Cave Club dolls (though I like the Cave Club dolls)

I LOVE Electrified! 🥰 The colors, the crimped hair, the variety, the 80's vibe.....I count myself lucky, I've gotten them at GREAT prices 🤣

Honestly, I like the G1 classrooms line more than the Save Frankie and the Dressing up as Hybrids part of the Freaky Fusion line. The main part of Freaky Fusion is lovely, but I think the save Frankie and the ones where they dressed up and pretended to be hybrid monsters were weird and felt like they're trying to milk said Freaky Fusion line as much as possible.

I totally agree on G3's Creepover line. I'm the kind of collector who has that ONE character they end up wanting every doll of, and even that kind of love couldn't make me love Creepover enough to bother. I don't know if I'd personally put it on a "worst" list though, since there's a lot of genuinely good stuff going for it; they've differentiated the tailoring on each ghoul's trousers to fit with their characters so well, Draculaura having the slim fit leggings, Frankie having the loose fit to get their prosthetic through, Clawdeen having the little elasticated cuffs that mirror her jumpsuit from the boutique set. Even their fur jackets are all tailored differently. I might even venture as far as to say when you really look at the effort taken, that it's a genuinely good line BUT. But. All that effort means nothing if you just don't care for sleepover lines which... I share the same feelings as you on!
(extra note: I was amused when this went into a G1 line straight afterwards that happens to represent the thing I find the worst in G1: the exact same cocktail dress silhouette on every single doll there, drives me mad. My eyes just glaze right over the lot, there is nothing there for me.)
Oh boy the way i would fill this with G2 dolls immediately because those are so bad 😭
Even g1 had some awful releases:
The School Spirit line,Fangtastic Fitness,Geek Shriek and let's not forget about those 'Save Frankie' dolls!
When it comes to G3 there haven't been as many awful dolls but the first fewer releases are definitely on the bad side.Especially the Cheerleading pack or whatever.Especially Clawdeen.The first couple Clawdeens are ROUGH
Though "Dance Class" wasn't exciting I thought they were a pretty good set. I got the multi-pack for a few reasons; it wasn't a bad price, it came with all of them except for Howleen (which I never liked the pink Howleen reboot so it wasn't wasted on me), it meant that I got Gil that I had missed out on getting from the Great Scarier Reef release. It also meant I got new shoes and purses to use when I restyled the nice base dolls.
And I fully agree with Electrified being the worst, they looked SO cheap! I was extra sad because I LOVE some 80s cheesy glam aesthetic and they did it S0 poorly!
Why do I now want the entire electrified line? Are they so bad they are good?

I have the Ghoul Spirit Spectra (but not with all of her items) and the doll is so so beautiful! I like her makeup much better than the signature doll. The skirt is meh but the shirt and shoes are fine and seem like a decent quality!
You excluded the swim class line because it's water related and you only hate electrified because electricity conducts water because YOU'RE A MERPERSON

I was considered too old for dolls when MH came out so I admired them from afar through tv adverts. I remember seeing the Electrified advert and thinking “Ohh the brand is dead now…” 😭 funny enough I also think it was the last ever line I saw get a tv ad?? 💀 that line really did kill G2 huh,,,
The Electrify line was really the one which has definitively killed Monster High. I still can't believe really released that! Even considering that the 70-80's look would be trend again, the designs are really SOOO BAD.

I do see what you’re saying, but the original Ghoulia, Lagoona, and Frankie dolls came with second outfits that were cute and lots of accessories. Also, I just have so much nostalgia for them because that was my first Lagoona. My friend had Ghoulia and I think Frankie too! This Frankie looks sooo good with the bangs
G2 is giving Middle School almost all the time and I can’t stand it 😭
I liked the g2 movies quite a bit. A lot of the dolls were not good from g2 though.
You take Geek Shriek way too seriously lol, they're just glasses. Also imo the Gigi one (I think who that is the last one on the end) looks really cute and has really nice hair.
