There is this girl and this is exactly what I feel. I don't know her, but I already like her and find her attractive. But most of all - she's a bit younger than me, and I feel drawned to her, but more as a friend would. I want to be part of her life, I want to support her - and not only financially. Remember that God has a plan to make you more like Christ and that your spouse might not be who you think, but who he wants for you. You can love lots and lots of people, but that does not mean they are the right one. There are millions of great people in this world that any of us could be happy with. This needs serious prayer, don't assume or take this lightly. Ask the Lord if the person you are with is the one. He used to always give me clues and answers, but I tended to ignore them being a young spiritually immature Christian. Let me tell you that even with the right one, life is not a picnic. This world has problems and sin wreaks havoc in relationships. Christ is the only one that will never disappoint you or let you down in a bind.

my husband and I met on match.com and we emailed and talked on the phone. Yes that's what our generation did when we dated we actually had conversations on the phone. LOL I pretty much knew by the time we had been dating about 2 or 3 months he was the one who I wanted to marry. once he met my entire crazy extended family at Christmas that only solidified the fact that I wanted to marry him. the funny thing was that when we had our first kiss that night it was like somebody put a big cozy warm blanket around my shoulders and I felt like I was home

This is really amazing to me. I have a friend coming to see me that I have not seen in 37 years. 41 years ago in between Jr high and high school we were kind of an item. Little kids crush you might say. I'm a widow of 15 years and nervous about this meeting. He lives about 5 hrs away and not to long after we started messages on messenger he said he was going to come down and would let me know when. Now I've prayed for a new relationship many times. This time is different. He's a very nice man who is a Christian. So he's coming on the 25th. God has told me through his word Psalms 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Then in my daily devotional it says to go after him. Not in those words but I don't have room to write what he said. I'm excited but older now so I have control over acting like a high school idiot. Please pray for me. As Jon said " I want someone that I already know." I totally agree and his name is John as well. So pray for me everyone. I asking God for his wisdom everyday and this blessing. Thank you 😊

Paula Martinas I am a widow and have been for almost 18 years. This was written three years ago. I had a narcissist that took me for everything I had. I've never met such a person. Cold hearted, no hearted. The sad part is he was raised in a Christian home with a Dad as a pastor. He knows John MacArthur because he went to LABBC (At the time) and was great at fooling anyone. He is very good with the Bible and taught me alot. Anyway, I would rather be alone than go through that pain again. I was married for many years and after 18 years I'm still sad and I miss my husband awful. Thanks for your advise. God Bless.
