This is the Sims save file equivalent of colouring by numbers and I LOVE IT.
As someone who’s just re-entered her 2-week Sims 4 phase, this is a lifesaver! I enjoy CAS and Build mode but I’m not the best architect in the Sims, and never have the motivation to build anything like community lots or full neighbourhoods with similar aesthetics. Many thanks go to you, Satch!

I love the idea of these sm. Not only does it help individuals who don't own every single pack, but it also gives a gentle nudge in the right direction in terms of making houses & interior design in the sims. I am so excited to try these savefiles when I find the time to!!

idk if the sims pc would be compatible but have you got a controller that is pc compatible? there are some games that just need to be played one way or the other and when I got Fallout 4 for PC i bough a controller cuz I just couldn't with the keyboard lmao

This is so great I am so happy with this video because I feel like this is the direction I want to go for builds. I am a little daunted by complete open concept shells, but your optimist outlook house is intuitive which I appreciate. This is just so great lol I need to get started. I would love this concept of video for building to become a series with building long term save files. Like to help challenge new builders or ongoing builders. It is a breath of fresh life into the game since we know it is pretty stale. this is perfect! ive just rebuild a project with 32 apartments from a video on yt and im so tired already of all the door placing etc that i just cant bring myself to start furnishing. Because even tho i played the sims for a decade and more i still suck at floorplanning (The project has helped with that actually!). but this is a nice thing to do instead for a bit of change and i can always go back to the monster later haha
This is such a good idea! It would be cool to make a bunch of households people could choose from as well!
This should be shipped with the game, it's such a wonderful primer for people who don't know how to approach building!

This looks so good! I always find Newcrest intimidating, even just trying to fill it from the gallery. Thanks for doing the hard work of deciding what lots to put where. I'm going to be adding this to my game soon, I can't wait to get everything finished and decorated.

I never play in Newcrest bc the thought of building my own neighborhoods give me anxiety weird ik but my brain looks at the world as a whole rather than 1 lot at a time and I just go to 1 of the other worlds. Thank u so much for creating this save I'm going to place all these lots in my game to practice and maybe I'll actually play in Newcrest for the first time ever

the gallery is an awesome idea! my mac is so picky about what save files don’t glitch out lol Once I finish moving i’ll finally get my pc up and running again and can save everything again

I'm honestly a fan of decorating but building from scratch scares me, so I'm definitely gonna download some of these! These are great~
Also, two things: "church benches" and "pavlova"😂😂😂 the seats in churches are called pews (but it's not very widely used, so I get why you didn't use it). However, that's not a "pavlova" (I know you meant pergola, you even said it after), it's a gazebo😭

For people who like this stuff, It's also fun to take a build off the gallery, and change the packs, make it base game only and/or friendly. Or change the lot type.
When I do this, I make sure when you upload you tell people how to find the original build, because some libraries are big so I include the lot title, usually in the comments because you can copy and paste from the comments, but not build descriptions.
Omg a save file shell challenge would be so fricking funny. Like a whole newcrest with shells from easy to difficult. I know it's a lot of work, but... omg 😂 since the last shell challenge I'm so hyped about those shells 😂

Satch, I love that you're always thinking of the bees. A few years back for Mother's Day I sponsored a bee named Piper for my mom. They sent a bee necklace and certificate with Piper's stats like where they rescued her hive from and approx. how many reigning years she had left as queen. 🧡🐝

I have to say though, I'm a bit disappointed, I just went back to check the site to be sure I did it through Project Honey Bees and it looks like a lot has changed since I did it. Now you have to order their bee themed jewelry to sponsor a bee, print your own certificate etc. Maybe I just happened to catch a Mother's Day special though when I did it. Plus it was quite a while back. If you do want to participate, I recommend checking other sites to find the best fit for you but at least you know Project Honey Bees is real. And I believe they're associated with Cornell University. Good luck!

22:53 IM SO EXCITED FOR THE RENOVATION SAVE. i'm currently renovating the stargazer lounge in san myshuno (i plan on renovating/changing every lot in the world) so the timing is hilarious.
Actually, it seems like For Rent has been causing major game breaking problems for build mode, especially when it comes to roofing. I refuse to touch that pack, even though I like the CAS and build items that come in it, until they fix the major game breaking issues in it... so probably never, since EA doesn't care.

Maybe down the road, something similar with other neighborhoods that come with bad pre built houses from the pack? Like assets for that pack + base game for neighborhoods like magic realm that have terrible houses.

I like this concept a lot. I am not as creative or original when it comes to building in Sims 4. This would help me a lot. Do you plan to make save files for other worlds in the same manner or is it a one-time-thingy?
its insane sometimes how sims avid gamers just must thought of every creative avenues for this game to prove the potential and still love it one sided, it hurts. I imagine if these creative features were given to customers at the least as support for lack of content. How can a game betray 😂 its crazy

I recently filled in all of Newcrest... Entire right side was for libraries, night clubs, community center, things along those lines. Another entire area I dedicated to apartments, and the other big neighborhood I dedicated to only houses. I love it! ❤

For SFS you need to ask someone who uses SFS (any modder that uses it) for an invite code

i started playing the sims recently and as someone who’s played dress up games their whole life, figuring out CAS wasnt TOO hard, meanwhile build mode has been super confusing and difficult and FRUSTRATING. i really appreciate this, i really hope this will help me learn to build!!

Nice. I'm not much of a builder, though. All my builds are very boring and basic. I built a farmer's mansion that's basically a three story square on a 50x50 with the farm in the back. The inside looks nice, but it's mostly open floor plan.
