Turnstile performing "7" and some of "Keep It Moving" before security shuts the show down for going past curfew at St. Stephens Church in Washington, DC on October 29th, 2016 to celebrate the release of "Move Thru Me". Additional camera by Sunny Singh/hate5six.

Janky promotor that didn't organise the show properly, and so it ran overtime. The guard has to protect the venue's interests, who don't want to be fined for violating any ordinances, most likely noise. Peace.
the band understands, its a working relationship, when you're on the road you need each other so when you're up in the spot you want security to have your back and you want to make their job as easy as possible, you'll always get kids who dont understand that, they didnt show up for the music, but if everyone have a good time, nobody gets fucked up and everybody gets home safe, its a good gig

Turnstile are great and I love seein all the kids having fun. Respect to the peaceful end, but food for thought... the guard stopped the show because it ran past curfew. That is the fault of a janky promotor, NOT THE GUARD!!!! If the venue violates local noise ordinances or other laws, they will be fined. Simple as that.
Listen I realize you have probably booked and have attended thousands of shows before but occasionally punk show don’t run 100% on time. The show was literally 2 mins over when the security guard hopped on stage and forced the band to stop. They were literally about 30 seconds from finishing their set at that time. Yes the show should have ended at the curfew (10pm) but the security probably should have talked to someone before jumping on the stage and ending the show like that. Luckily this ended peacefully but could have easily went a different route.

"Back in My Day"....we had Sunday Matinee shows....no 'real' reason to book a show at night when there's a local curfew that gives 'the fuzz' an excuse to hassle everyone. Screw curfews - start earlier.
@@MichaelJames-lz7ni alldayers were the best ,was skating with bones brigade (the hardcore band, not the skate team from back in the day) outside in the sun during switch overs and stuff. I really miss punk all dayers. no one seems to do them any more.

I remember being in west palm beach amphitheater and it was on a muddish landslide type of lawn area where you got this one palm beach Officer in the middle of a mosh pit in the lawn area trying to regain control lmfao 😂

Last time I seen one of those band shirts, it was a guy thinking he was funny by walking in on a madball set at some festival. I'll give him props for being ballsy, but he got dropped by a guy twice his size for throwing his beer on one of the guys wearing a youth of today shirt. Security wasnt too happy trying to pull the guys limp body over the barricade up front... for the rest of the festival, there was not as many douches running up in the pit during a hardcore bands set. Turnstile pits are no different than the first pits before MTV ruined it with push pits.
