One of her statement was that women should possess grace as that is what makes her a woman. She was implying that the WCC members make noise for no reason and thereby losing their grace. So in conclusion I understood that according to her, being graceful is more important than having a nattelllu 😅

How many feel Parvathy should be the real "lady superstar of South India " She is very real, honest, non diplomatic , kind empathetic, opinionated and above all a great actor.
We call manju warrier and nayanthara lady superstars.. Nothing against them.. But just know that high diplomacy ,silence and encouraging the obvious unfairness aren't exactly the signs we look in an idol.. I think people shud celebrate actors like parvathy who takes a stand more than someone who looks younger day by day...
Nothing wrong is appreciating them, .. But for me Parvathy is the lady superstar(although that word is cringe) of South India!! She looks her age.. She speaks smartly and is empathetic and is powerful enough to change the thinking of a lot of people.. Mike being one example!

Nobody has said that only one person can be a lady superstar, nayanthara anushka shetty manju warrier and parvathy- i consider all of them lady superstars of the south indian film industry.
Though what you said about parvathy is correct, i would also like to argue that if somebody does not speak out something does that mean they do not have a stand ? All the actresses named above have broken a lot of streotypes and fought gender inequality in the industry, they dont need to sit and talk about it to the public to prove that they have a stand. All of us know what manju and nayan have gone through in their personal lives and come out of it. Parvathy expressed it , which is her choice. The others have shown their strength simply by the way they are on screen and of screen. Everyone has their own ways of dealing with things , which might not necessarily be talking about it. So to say that parvathy is "real lady superstar " is demeaming the efforts of the others who have achieved a lot of things in the industry which includes fight for better roles for actresses in movies , remuneration, solo successes and respect.

She got some real balls....I still remember when she,Revathi mam and Padmapriya mam were forming WCC there were lot of criticism against them...Even started calling them names like Revathi kelavi aayille veetil irunude like that...even she had to hear a lot of criticism just becoz she was standing against some so called superstars and regressive organisation and people..even till date these organisations are like some kind of parasites in such a wonderful industry like Mollywood where people are actually talented and skilled...We are actually blessed with some great and passionate filmmakers and scriptwriters...And wonderful actors and actresses but still some morons are try to oppress voices like Parvathy....till date mocking , trolling body shaming and slut shaming an actress is as simple as buying vegetables...But when it comes to our male superstars then they are like its mass marana mass and wht else....this system have to be change as she said this entire syllabus has need to change.
