Thanks Jon!!! Kudos!!!! This was perfect for My Driver's side Door Grab Bar Replacement Project.. Mine, like many others, snapped right off... The dealer wanted 1k for this Including 3 hours of labor... You made it look easy...
Repaired a faulty window switch. Your video was key. Perfect explanation of disassembly. Thank you.
Nice video, I'll do my 2009 rl soon on driver side. I did my center console before too and the glove box cover, it's nice that ebay or Amazon have them pre cut already. Thank you
This is a perfect explanation. I need to do the same thing on my 07. Thanks for this!
Great Job!! 👍
Wow! What a great video - Thank you so much for your efforts in putting this together. So helpful....it took all of the fear out of doing this. Thanks!!!!
"All identical screws" love to hear that one haha thanks for the videos just got my 06 rl aspec and it needs some interior love
Have you replaced rear deck speakers. I have an 08 that has blown a few tweeters
Exactly what I needed. Thank you
Thank you. I have a dark grease stain on the inside of my window so I need to get in there and figure it out. This helps.
Great tutorial
Excellent video.
Nice job! Pleasure to watch and learn. Well spoken 2 thumbs way up👍👍
Thanks Anthony!
Thanks! I had to remove a blown speaker and this helped me get there.
How did you get the speaker out. I can get the panel off but can't find a way to remove the speaker
Very helpful video. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks brother. Super easy
Small note, the 2009-2010 and possibly even the 2011 and 2012 Acura RL models have an extra screw in the upper door handle pocket - where the armrest is. There’s a rubber rectangular piece you can gently remove to expose the screw.
Ruslan, Thanks for the info.
Thank you! Needed this
Thank you !!
thank you for this!
Did you do a video about back seat removal on the RL. I need to replace rear deck speakers and am having trouble on RL info. Everyone has the TL
Also. Are you in Tallahassee?
Your a savior 👍
Thanks Ray Ray. Hit that like and subscribe!
Great video thanks! Would you happen to have the blistering problem on the glove box? It's notorious on the RL and deserves a repair video.
Yes I do, I have purchased material to repair it. I am just being a bit lazy and need to tackle that next. Mine looks like someone melted it with a lighter.
JON'S DIY it’s a tough one to repair I would imagine! I got really lucky and found one at the Parts Yard. The housing was broken but the front leather(or synthetic) can be unscrewed separately so I just used my existing glove box housing.
Good luck with it mate. I love my car again now that I’ve fixed a few issues.
@@Bryanalvarenga1 Thanks for the info. Hopefully I can pull it off like I did with the door arm rest. Thanks Jon (don't forget to subscribe!)
JON'S DIY sure thing!
@@JONSDIY you think you can give me the where you buy the stuff for the glove box
Did you ever look into reupholstering the glove box door? Must not be as easy? I appreciate your videos on the door armrests and center console, thank you.
Yes. I have video but have not edited it yet. Will do soon
@@JONSDIY You rock and roll! Thanks!
Do you have one for the center console armrest also?

Do you know how to remove the side panels on the center console? I’m trying to replace the carpet
Yes it’s a video on my page th-cam.com/video/e5SgWpfKK6k/w-d-xo.html
@@JONSDIY I’m talking about where the cup holder is at. Removing all that center console.
@@kb1Legendflaco Sorry, no I did not ever do that one.,
Jon, what model years RL does this apply to?
Jeffrey, The RL in this video is a 2006. But when purchasing the arm rests (link in description) it states that it will work with all RL 2005 to 2010.
I want to fix my Mdx 2003
