I chuckled as you were battling against the tree to put the roof, as if it was avenging the branch you cut down for the handles xD Great couple of videos and a very cute rustic shed, I'm happy the algorithm made me found your channel.
Yeah I did have a bit of a fight with it 😁 maybe it wasn’t happy. Glad you like the shed I was pleased with how it turned out and it’s great know the algorithm is promoting my videos. 🙂👍
Hi. Everything looks great, I really like your approach to the matter, but I have questions; was the timber (wood) of the frame used or is it new from the store? The door board is clearly reused, but the timber of the frame and the sheathing is not clear, judging by the color of the wood it seems that the board is rotten; will you treat the surface with something? P.S. I had to use Google Translate
Thank you I’m really pleased you liked it. Thanks for your questions. The frame and the feather edge sheathing are new and treated, only the door timber is used. They are definitely not rotten in any way and are actually old floor boards from an old school and very seasoned. I think the wood may have originally been treated hence the colour and I don’t plan on treating them they should always stay dry where they are. Oh and the shelving boards are also old floor boards but from my daughter’s 1930s house they have just renovated. The door handles are from a branch I had to remove from the adjacent tree. 👍🙂
@@revivalworkshop )))) It's great that you give wood a second life and don't dispose of it, as they say "An old horse doesn't spoil a furrow". I'm planning to do something similar for my garden investor, I'll take your brainchild as an idea. Only I'll have to use a coating since in my region there is high humidity in winter, I think a natural coating like oil. I really liked the door handles, I think I'll also borrow this idea from you. My respect to the master, I'll subscribe, I'll wait for new videos.
Definitely a good idea to give it as much protection as possible. Good look with your build and you will have post a video of at least the finished product. 👍🙂
