    This is great! Unfortunately I needed it about 2 years ago. Would have saved me TONS of time! As you mentioned there are way too many videos out there that basically just show off how cool (or expensive) their setup is. This was short, to the point, and had just a dash of dry dad humor. Perfection. Would love to see part 3 where you cover cameras.... coming soon?

    This was a beautiful video. I love the art style that you used, which I assume is your own work. Beautifully done, best of luck to you with your streaming!

    I’m using obs with zoom pod track 4 to stream sporting events. Commentator audio is perfect but the crowd mic pics up nothing. It sounds like no one is there. I can’t figure out how to capture crowd sounds. Very frustrating because everything else is perfect. We hear the crowd thru the mic while broadcasting but the recording is not picking it up. Any ideas?

    Is there a way to add live commentary off site? For example live commentating from my bedroom?

      That's tricky, especially live, because someone will have to be on site to set up a camera and then get the video to you so you can see what's going on.
      You could then screen capture the video you're watching in OBS and add your audio as well. So they'd be livestreaming just video to you and you'd have a second live stream going with the video and audio. It would require a fast connection.
      The other option is to record video of the game, then watch it and record commentary over it later. The video might look a little better that way, and there'd really not be anyway to tell after the fact the commentary wasn't live, but you're not worried about two streams going at once. Live is nice, but a delayed broadcast is better than no broadcast.

    Man, this is exactly what I was looking for, I'm trying to start doing live broadcast and the part that worries me is the scoreboard, do you know how I can create or get one? The sport that I'm doing is Frontón (probably you haven't heard of it lol)

      Scoreboards are a bit tough. You can make a simple one in OBS, but it's generally just text that you have to edit every time the score changes. In baseball, we used one for the score and inning, but to do outs or something more you have to really have someone who is paying attention and dedicated to updating it all the time. I don't know how that would apply to Frontón (you're right I haven't heard of it). Some more expensive software has them built in.

    I'm trying to streamline and make easier recording commentary for professional wrestling events. Any other tips for that kind of environment, considering the recording is always exposed to the crowd and other noise pollution?

      There’s a way to like lower the volume on the event for the video if that’s what you’re talking about?

    Hi, How did you upload the scoreboard it and actively update it?

    • @TheOnDeckCircle
      @TheOnDeckCircle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We created our own within OBS, which is kind of tricky because it's doesn't really have that as a built in feature like some programs, but you can make one with just text.

      @@TheOnDeckCircle Thanks Guys
      I have now done the same, but still struggling to edit it throughout the match. Would be a huge help to be show how you do it?
