This is identical, shot for shot with Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. Specifically recognize 4:13 on. That wall divider with the left bend over crest was my favorite. That’s the inner section of Kanjyo.

Japan is one of those countries where just having the number plate on the image isn't enough, the face of the driver needs to be as well. So many have "stuff" installed that hides the face (I'm not going to give any hints or advice here, research it yourself if you're curious). As a result radar traps are less effective and not installed all over the place. Speeding is in fact quite expensive in Japan and it's rather easy to lose you license. The thing is, japanese street racers are a lot more cautious about not causing accidents and even not bothering other drivers in the first place. The story of the midnight club is quite famous but if you don't know it look it up. As such the police in japan is also somewhat tolerant on the matter compared to other countries. Then there's also the fact that police in japan is just different. For example they won't slam their car into yours just to stop you, as that's considered dangerous... and by that I mean even for the criminal, they usual try to not hurt criminals if they can. That of course stands in a huge contrast to how police in other places operates - like the US for example. I don't think I have to tell you about that. Police in japan is very helpful and friendly most of the time. You could almost say that people in japan worked hard to deserve having this kind of fun because they know how to behave. Unlike our barbarian western areas where car people manage to bother everybody around them and as a result are seen as idiots by the society. *sigh*
