A card Ive kinda fell in love with is dawnbringer cleric its super flexible and blocks early game stuff quite well. Its a bit more proactive and consistent than sunset revelry and wears Elspeth and Wanderer counters better. Also in this deck being a creature lets you "draw" it off your Ascendancy, find it off an Elspeth down tick, and discard it to draw 2 off a Lukka.
I recently started Arena, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but fleetfoot dancer feels quite solid. Eats a lot of aggro decks alive when you can cast it on curve.
I might be dreaming a bit but to see this in historic would be kinda hype for me ngl only tokens and planeswalkers is a cool and out of the box idea of a deck
Got a question. First match, blocking the attack to Elspeth from vampire and a copy of it by kiki jiki. It wasnt better to block the non token vampire? If not, why?
Based on the board state, it was a bad attack by the opponent, which implied they must therefore have something in hand that gained value from it being blocked.
@@akodotain oooh i see, didnt know what corpse apraisser was so i google it now and, in fact, it could be card advantage for the oponent, and we dont want that :D
Hey LVD any chance we could see a "Magma Pummeler" Deck? I made an izzet deck using "Widespread thieving" with Pummeller and goldspan as win conditions and it worked pretty well but you'd have a much better understanding on how to make it work.
@@joaquintristan4373 Yeah I saw that one but there seems like it could be explored more. Yet to see a magma pummeler deck which is weird because it is a pretty good uncommon imo.
One match I remember losing with this deck involved Thalia into Spellbinder and we never got to cast any spells so it wasn’t particularly interesting. I summed it up in the final conclusion instead.

Good suggestion!
Keep up the good work! Very creative & well rounded deck, earned a sub from me!
What a piece of art! Great work Luca!
I also noticed Your Thumbnails are very good with a lot of love to details!
Thanks for noticing!
@@LegenVD someone's been watching The Boys
finally, mila deck! I have been trying to make it work so much time, it is quite exciting for me to see it in the decklist

For sure! Especially with other ways to put counters on it.
It's definitely a nice card against all the boros aggro decks (mainly if they're relying on burn-based removal). 4 toughness is a really sweet spot.
Can’t wait for this great Gatsby jazz hands nonsense theme set to leave the earth.
The highlight of my lunch every day!
Beat the notification 🤘
👍🏻 Good stuff as always

Also great video btw
Any chance that we see another draft on TH-cam or Twitch! would be awesome! :)
Feels like most people have moved on from Capenna Draft.
@@LegenVD do you intend to draft the alchemy baldurs gate release when that comes out?
Opponent plays a Gruul Land.
VD: Lays out a long term strategy.
Opponent then plays a white source.

He recently did a widespread thieving deck, with tibalt as payiff

Not sure Magma Pummeler has what it takes for constructed.
I feel like I'm obtuse for not getting the wordplay in the MVC here. Stark Destruction? Is this a GoT reference? Or maybe Ironman?
You got it, Aria -> Arya Stark.
Is there a reason you don’t like Wedding Announcement in this deck?
Had to build around Ascendancy, but Announcement is probably the better card overall.
next deck idea: "the Boys" (anti-Supes deck)
👍
Is the thumbnail a "The Boys" reference? Man, the new episode can't come soon enough.
In overall Wren and Seven is kinda disappointing to me. Thought it would be better.
Call me cynical but in the 1st game, sweeper into open blue mana always spells counterspell
not really, grixis really doesnt necessarily play counterspells, could very very much have been carddraw
4th
Yo
Thank you for not playing dumbass counter spell decks even in your control packages you make the game fun
Why not show matches you lost?

TH-cam unsubbed me.
How dare they!
