I had meniscus surgery in November, and your “glute regimen” has definitely been helpful! Thank you.

Before my meniscus surgery, I did five sessions of gentle therapeutic yoga (one hour on your back) and saw my massage therapist, who did muscle testing on my legs and “activated” muscle groups with targeted massage. I’m 7 days post-op and walking without assistance for several days now.

I run 5k runs very constantly. I was losing weight as well until on a 5k run on July 4th I got an injury during the run. 100 yards from the finish line I felt my knee go left then right then drop. Well I’m here repairing from a knee meniscus surgery. My knee is locked but I’ve found ways to make it move. First I activate my glutes. Then…The best way is when I am on my bed and lay on my right side, my right knee is the injured side. I then cover my leg with my covers so I don’t see it (mind over matter) and I’ve got my right leg and foot on two pillows. I bend my knee beside of my pillow. After doing it a few times I look to see how it is doing and then I do 3 sets of 20 flex with my knee back and forth is one rep. In doing so I still keep the 2 to 3 pain tolerance table in mind. I did see a video of yours and I’m wondering if possibly it’s my flat feet that have caused this situation? Guess I need an insert? I’m improving slowly but surely I’m almost out of week 2 on the 14th of September.

Thank you so much for your wonderful videos Dr. David! You mentioned not working quads, does this mean to avoid abduction and abduction exercises too? God bless you ❤

Same here. I re-injured at three months. Rolled over in bed and something popped. Took hours to get back in place. Finally healing well and feeling good at 9 months and then I fell and re-injured my knee. I used to walk for miles. So depressed.
