Not clear what you actually did and why it was done this way? What capacity and health was the original battery? What did you put into the old case and why? What was the cost? Why could you not replace portions of the old battery to bring it to it's original capacty and health?
All it takes is 1 shop somewhere in Los Angeles or Orange County to service the United States . The battery’s can be by freight to anywhere to have them reinstalled. There has to be someone in the U.S. who can do this
I like, that somebody is repairing things instead of crushing the entire car, because a new battery pack is too expensive. I like this bmw, but if the battery dies here, its not worth fixing it. It will total the car and nobody tries to fix it. They sell you a new pack for 12000 eur plus labour
What you're talking about is the choice of most people, and a small number of people will still choose to switch. It depends on the individual and the region, you're right
