I don’t think I have seen that on a gen 3. I thought stock manifold was solid, you could just port stock. Like with the intake being good, you can do a drop in and be good.
@@bennymac6618 Yea I haven't seen one on a Gen 3 either and there's a reason for that. The 18+ mani is solid; the only two other mani's that I know that are better is the GT350 and CJ.
@@bennymac6618 GT350 is all around better than the 18+, you can install it and increase your rpm to 8000 and it’ll run efficiently, with cams even better. A ported 18+ may show better dyno numbers (up to 7500 rpm) but a lot of data has proven that the GT350 mani is just faster on the street than even a ported 18+. There’s a reason Ford put them in the MACH 1’s. I’d get the GT350 mani over the CJ anyway because it’s cheaper, you don’t have to lower the engine and get another CAI. It’s also easier to install and tune for. Make sure to get the GT350 throttle body if getting the GT350 Mani.
