@jeepinandexplorin The west is definitely highly recommended. Just make sure to take some other people/ vehicles as that can make a huge difference if problems come up. But the landscapes are completely worth the long drive!
It's funny how often I catch those going overhead overnight, but when I learned there are over 6,700 of them flying through the sky, I guess it feels a little less miraculous.
@grubandgravel we know the feeling. We skipped the rockwall at the end for exactly that reason. Obstacles are fun but having a vehicle break down in the middle of a desert, 2000 miles from home...not so much!
@UncleFjester We also run a Bronco in our family fleet, they each have their advantages. I just subbed on your channel, if you haven't already We would love to have you on board with the Journeybeyondoverland channel as well!
@UncleFjester it's not really the jeep we don't have confidence in. Just the driver's ability to navigate massive obstacles without causing damage. The Toyotas, Fords and Jeeps we ride with definitely all have their pros and cons, but at the end of they day all of them want to make it home again!
Looks like this was a fun trip.
It really was, just enough challenge to keep us on our toes, only saw Side by sides all day!
Definitely! You can read all you want about a trail ands its wonders, but driving it in person is always a completely different adventure!
Thanks for joining us! If you enjoyed this video, please like, comment, and subscribe. We are hoping to reach 1,000 subs by the end of the year.
love it. I stayed upstream at Black Ridge a few years ago, but didn't know about this area. That was before I ran OnX .
I'll have to check out Black Ridge, there's a lot to see in that area!
That trail looks like alot of fun. I really need to get out west
There's nothing like the American west, highly recommended!

We didn't even break anything!

I remember the first time I saw those we were in the New Mexico desert last year, we had no idea what it was! LOL.

Ugh, I want to hit trails like this but I have to drive 2300 miles home, so I'm weary of breaking anything.

@@JourneyBeyondOverland Having no confidence in your Jeep is not a good way to live on dirt roads. May I suggest looking into Ford or Toyota?
