The Arizona strip and Southern Utah are great areas to explore, going the first week of October really helped keep the temperature down. If you haven't already subscribed, we would love to have you, it really helps the channel grow.
@richards144 there are so many lesser known places in this area that are awesome adventures. Let us know if you have any questions about the area and we are happy to answer them the best we can.
@jeepinandexplorin yep. That silt was completely crazy! (Of course it would have been less miserable if we drove slowly, but that road in particular was just meant to drive fast!)
@dnf1812 the water was actually a little low when we visited, but that waterfall is an unexpected oasis in the middle of that desert. Highly recommended!
@@TwoFeatherChannel I'm sure this entire area looked different then, with the massive Ponderosa pines on Mount Trumbull surrounded by vast grasslands. It would have been immense and beautiful indeed.
I wondered how long it would take for someone to ask! Tristan and Bill were pulled over in the JKU as we went through Toquerville. The officer was pretty gruff with them at first because he believed they were driving without a license plate. He was very skeptical when Bill and Tristan told him it was there, but likely just covered in mud, dirt, and silt. Once the officer checked and discovered there actually was a plate, he started laughing and joking with them. He seemed a little embarrassed even. It was ironic, because we had noticed that the license plate was horribly covered in dirt, but hadn't fixed it because that plate is under a plastic cover, and hard to get to. I'm just sorry we didn't get any of it on video. As to the song, I assume you mean the one with lyrics. That is a song called "Anywhere You Want To Go" by Justin Lee. Our channel has a music license through Uppbeat.io and that artist regularly posts music on the site. I'm pretty sure I've used several of his songs. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
Bill's enchanting voice!
LOL
At one point he sang the entire first verse and chorus of "O Lord, It's Hard to Be Humble," but I have yet to find something to use that with!
cows hanging out lol lol lol what do they eat?? lol lol
I asked the same thing, they don't look skinny!
@@DeniseMorgan-l7z believe it or not, they eat sagebrush. It was weird to see them hanging out in the high desert.
Another great video!!
It really was a great trip, but the video is all Krys' talent!
@jasonevoy8348 thanks Jason! It means a lot that you keep watching them and enjoy them.
Good thing for down loaded maps! Might have to sleep out here tonight LOL.
Yep, I download nearly the whole state when I plan to leave the road.😂
@@grubandgravelabsolutely! Part of the adventure is ending up where you didn't plan.
really enjoyed your video. and it's given me new ideas for my next summer's trip.

@ just subscribed
Thanks! Glad to have you on board!
I will no longer complain about dust on our dirt roads in the ozarks 😂😳
The week before we were in the Ozarks, this was a whole new level!
@jeepinandexplorin yep. That silt was completely crazy! (Of course it would have been less miserable if we drove slowly, but that road in particular was just meant to drive fast!)
nice waterfall you guys have there!
I had watched other TH-cam videos on this area before we went. It exceeded my expectations!

looks like they cut all the trees down to build that temple.
Mt. Trumble still has Ponderosa pine, but nothing the size shown in the black and white photo. Lot of desert between there and St. George!

@@Billwithjourneybeyondoverland yes those trees in the photo were huge.
@@TwoFeatherChannel no doubt!
Definitely have to change your air filter after this trip
Yes we did! The guy at the parts store said your changing your filters already? These Jeeps get driven as Jeeps!
@stevekenny9154 Bill probably could have used a lung filter while filming too!
The police stop, ask in the comments, tell me that story, also I like the song in the background, what is that song?
I wondered how long it would take for someone to ask!
