I'm glad Cindy and Penny made up after that disastrous final year of "Laverne and Shirley", when Cindy abruptly quit the show. Season Eight, without Cindy, was horrible.
Yes it was horrible when Cindy left it wasn't the same they should have just cancelled it. So sad that Penny Marshall is now gone thanks for the laughs
I read she got pregnant took time off & they they said they wouldn't pay her after saying they would. she was gonna sue the studio But then they paid her & then canceled her contract. The hsow was going down hill anyway. But yeah Awesome show, been watching it on DVD
Yeah! Cindy's bad accent was dropped, thank goodness, but it only lasted maybe 3 episodes. In the Archive of American Television (now the Television Academy Interviews) Cindy said she has no ear for accents! She said she figured since everyone else spoke that way, she should too!
