For the part where the Eleanor headlight buckets didn't line up with the fender or the hood body lines (about 1:28 into the video), did you just add green filler and shape to fix it or another method? Getting ready to put a kit on my 67 and the 'glass part is new to me. Also do you just use body adhesive to attached the flares or do you have to cut the fenders/quarters at all? Appreciate it, these videos are really helpful and you are one of those guys that has a gift for their work!
@texasautotheater6299 I use the green duraglass filler to bond on the bodykit. I tap up the fender and use short strand fiberglass to add to the kit to make it line up better
@texasautotheater6299 no cutting on the mustangs to fear kit. If it's a cheap ebay kit than yes you may have to cut reliefs in flares. They are just bonded on with duraglass
Really appreciate the replies! Oh gotcha, sorry I meant cutting on the cars fender or quarters metal. I know some flare requiring cutting into the fender metal and on the rear quarter can involve separating the inner/outer metal and bending the inner quarter metal up to meet the new flare.
