Is there any other way to read out PINCODE from the old ECU , mine is comunicating but i cant get neither Galleto or Carprog ?

If it does not work, then it is easier to rewrite the entire ECU through the BDM connector.

First need read ECU info with diagnostic tool.

Having a crappy time with my zafira b 1.7 cdti. ECU packed in .Put in a used one and have all the pass codes .key numbers the lot .Didn't work .Vauxhall mechanic told me you need all the rest of the stuff from donor car .clocks .fuse boxes etc .Problem is my car has cruisexontrol and the donor car doesn't. The indicator stem on donor does not have the cruise switch .Vauxhall tell me you MUST fit a brand new blank ecu and have it reprogrammed then it will start .What a bloody nightmare man...

If you know security codes from new and old ecu, then just need installed new ecu and reset with new security code after need coded new ecu with old security code (but if you write not correct code system can be locked from 1 minute to 24 hours, for unlock system need on ignition and wait from 1 to 24 hours) and write OLD VIN NUMBER. Then need coding bcm, after succesuful coded engine starting. But if you want replace all components from old car, then just need with coding help enabled parameters what need for you (cruise control, ESP, lights control or other configurations).

@@SimpleHOW Thanks man .Your info is appreciated .The ECU I put in is second hand from a spare car I have in the garage with a blown engine so anything I need for mine I cannibalize for parts .Just got a quote from Arnold Clark Vauxhall 1450 pounds (ouch) to fit a brand new blank ECU and code it in .Far too much as my car is probably not even worth this amount .Tbe ecu from my donor car is ok as I started it with the rattly smoky engine for 10 seconds to see if the electrics were still ok .I have all the key codes .vin number the lot from both cars .The electrician says he needs to change the transponder .Key chips etc ???? My car is the elite model .The donor car is the middle range energy model so I hope I will not lose my cruise control .Heated seats and any other extras the elite has that the energy model does not .Its a real pain in the ass all this man .I thank you again for your help .Great.

Can you use mpps to get the bin file then use hex ed to get code would that be possible

No, because pin code in eeprom file, MPPS can't read eeprom file.
