    Class vid again! I’ve lost just shy of 7kg since lockdown just from not eating the usual snacks in the office, I’ve dropped from 89kg to 82.5 (6 Foot) with no change to my usual meals or training plan. Hoping that my snacking habit will have been killed off by the time I’m back in the office!

    One fat loss tip that may sound contradictory. Eat a little treat you enjoy a lot (i.e. Solero, 2 celebrations, a packet of crisps) so you don't build up the craving for high calorie highly processed foods and you can enjoy your diet a lot more and hopefully decrease your chance of binging.

    • @RobLipsett
      @RobLipsett  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      For sure man, this is essentially a nice way to sum up flexible dieting / IIFYM 👌🏼

    • @r21guns74
      @r21guns74 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely! It's where so many people go wrong, I think. They completely avoid junk food thinking they can't have it at all, and then they just give up and get bored. Have a little bit of what you fancy, it's all about balance!

    My biggest tip. Well not really a tip because it works for me but doesnt mean it will work for everyone.
    Is to train 1-2 hours after I wake up and fasted. Not because training fasted creates some magical things to happen. Simply because for me, after a hard training session I get extremely hungry. So if I have eaten over 60% of my calories before the gym i find that it's not too hard for me to go over my calories.

    Don’t agree with daily weigh ins, unless individuals have a high quality scale that tells them a rough fat mass vs muscle mass it can be detrimental to a persons progress. Fat weighs less then muscle so unless they can see in the mirror that they are losing fat and getting leaner it’s ineffective. Fluctuations in weight during early phase of fat/weight loss will always occur especially when individual is resistant training or upping their usual activity levels.
    Love the rest of the vid Rob

    The problem I have is I use my BMR of 1830 as a guage. So I eat about 2250 cal . I dont see how cutting 100 or 200 cal is going to lose fat but if I go below BMR thats not good!! My fitness pal tells me to eat 1400 calories a day🤣🤣🤣 its confusing

    Four Catholic ladies are having coffee together.
    The first one tells her friends, "My son is a priest. When he walks into a room, everyone calls him 'Father.'"
    The second Catholic woman chirps, "My son is a Bishop. Whenever he walks into a room, people say, 'Your Grace.'"
    The third Catholic woman says smugly, "My son is a Cardinal. Whenever he walks into a room, people say, 'Your Eminence.'"
    The fourth Catholic woman sips her coffee in silence.
    The first three women give her this subtle "Well…?"
    She replies, "My son is a gorgeous, 6’2, hard bodied stripper. When he walks into a room, people say, 'Oh my God…'"

    For people struggling with day-to-day weight fluctuations, try to change your perspective on what their actual value is: a single weigh-in only gives you an arbitrary number and is meaningless in and of itself, so DON’T use it to measure your self-worth or progress. But, when collected over days, weeks, and months, it’s valuable data that can show trends and progression in your journey, so try to view it from a long-term perspective, rather than overthinking things! Cheers!

    All the people obsessing over being lean is destroying gains. Just think how big you could be if you were prepared to increase body fat temporarily. Instead you have to wear size small or walk around without a top on to look like you lift.
