Great vid Ryan! I’ve been a long term follower and always have enjoyed your high gain amp demos. Your mic choice is obviously bang on as you don’t have a homogenised sound like many other studios that use IRs and Reactive Loads. The amps always come across as individual and unique. I also enjoy your playing. I have to admit to being a teenie tiny bit surprised with your favourite amp but that’s what makes this hobby special. Looking forward to your MT100, Archon 50 and EVH 100S vids.
Thanks for posting this. Super refreshing to just see a normal dude who works a lot and likes to buy gear, posting an awkward video about amps without the whole “TH-cam is my job” element. I’m serious, it’s super relatable. Nothing against the whole “TH-cam is my job” folks but at a certain point with the editing and production and sponsorships and everything else it stops being as relatable or relatable at all.
Really enjoy the channel and thank you for sharing. That said, what do you do for a living to be able to acquire all the gear you own? I think I may have definitely made some poor career decisions. 😬
Heavy Equipment Operator and Construction Forman. So for like 8 Months out of the year I work ridiculously long hours 6-7 days a week. I have also been playing for around 30 years... so this and the guitars are an accumulation over that time. Cheers -Ryan
What's up, Ryan! Have you been using C90 speakers in Mesa's cab since the beginning of your TH-cam channel? Because I very like your guirar tone! Cheers P.S. Thank you very much for your videos, they helped me a lot.
Awesome collection. I like the cut of your jib as far as gettin" tones, sir. Rock on!

@@Crypticmaskguitar Thanks for the quick reply man!! Amazing collection. I recently acquired an SG Special after watching your video. Thanks again 🤘🏼

Glad you enjoy the videos! Yeah my cab came factory with C90s rather than V30s. C90s seam to have a little more girth than V30s. Cheers -Ryan
Hey Ryan, which is your favourite?? (just kidding) I only have 11 heads, but 7 of them are the same as yours, like your non TH-camr channel mate.
