What do you use for a light source over wintering the coleus. I have my cuttings rooted in water and don't know if I need them under a grow light or just a window. This video was so informative. This is my first try at saving coleus and petunias
Just near a bright window. This year I have them 3ft from SW window. I have had them up to 10 ft from South facing window. Be careful not to overwater them. No grow light needed. 😁

I agree. I just like this method since I have less issues keeping them through the winter.
How long can you keep them in the water? Before having to plant.
All winter if you want. I have kept them like this until Spring and direct planted in my containers after hardening them off.
