A screenwriting dream: I know a couple of performers that aren't actors. I'd love to see them debut with one of my stories. It feels like a great journey to share with my friends and well-wishers. A rising tide lifts all boats!
People remember. That's a big one! I have run into several people that think their talent/personality is going to carry them. They're already acting snobby and have nothing to stand on. They're not even deep into the industry! Their egos are big. It just shows me, like you said about 10 years, I don't want to work with them. I won't look for them. And, I'll remember. Coming from Chicago, it's very common to walk into your workplace and say good morning. That's a MINIMUM thing. It's commonplace and almost expected. I like that. Even if you're not in a good mood, you end up saying good morning. It's a lesson in how to endure and keep control of one's self. While not selling yourself out or short. Relationships matter in this creative world of writing, acting and movie making.

Enough with the bowing and the subjulgation and all the bs about screenwriters not getting there due because of some bs behavior. YOU MUST KNOW SOMEONE, the end. Everything else is in the decimals, irrelevant.
