Have you got a special event coming up and want to take your tea sandwiches to the next level?
That's exactly what this video is all about. Today I'll show you how we can take simple tea sandwiches to the next level, and create the wow factor you're looking for.
Adding more sophistication to your tea sandwiches isn't overly complicated. It might be a little more time consuming and need more attention to detail, but it's still easy and achievable.
In this video we make 3 different styles of tea sandwiches. I hope this gives you some unique ideas and inspires you to come up with your own ideas too.

It just goes to show us knowledge is power..they are simple to make but even still it requires practice to make them look right! Like everything!
2:38 So cute! The tomato looks like a jewel in a green setting ❤
Haha so true!
Genius! 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I missed you pleseee make more often please
Trying our best 😉
Bless you. My presentation skills are little to be desired. Cannot wait to put some of your ideas into action.
Regards from a fellow kiwi.
I'm sure you can do it! Have fun experimenting 😊. Practice makes perfect!
We grow a lot of basil, as it is seasonal and only grows in summer, it does go to seed quickly. The only way to slow it down is to always pinch off the tips where you see the seeds and flowers are forming. Once you allow one stem to make its flower and seeds, the whole bush will go to seed so pluck away every day! This also encourages a full bush.
If you can find globe basil, do try and grow it. It has tiny little and sweet smelling leaves and it grows into a perfect ball, so beautiful, and the tiny leaves are beautiful for garnish but fragrant enough to make pesto.
When you have a big harvest, I pulse it in the food processor with olive oil and jar it. This is the only way I have found that basil gives that fresh flavour throughout the year. Dried it is completely different and frozen it loses its’ pungency.
With the jarred basil, it is then easy to make pesto, just add an equal amount of parmigiano, and I like to toast the pine nuts and add them whole to my pasta.
I hope this helps!
I've just bought a little globe basil plant... it's so hard with it sitting in the window not to use any yet! I love the flavour and scent!
@@EasyPeasyKitchen oh I LOVE that you have the globe basil!
We also grow micro salads and herbs in our greenhouse…. I just love eating a bowl of micro salad, though it takes half a tray to fill a bowl!
Stunningly simple, beautiful presentation and another wonderful set of ideas to please the family. Thank you.
Thanks, so glad you liked it. Enjoy making some of your own 'wow factor' sandwiches ☺️
Beautiful 🎉
Thank you! 😊
I was off social media for 4month,but I was looking forward to your videos, thanks you for always sharing your skills with us 🎉🎉
You are so welcome!
Okay, I might be some sort of heathen, but as beautiful as those sandwiches are, I can't think of a graceful way to eat them. Do you pick them apart from the skewer? Do you smoosh them down to be able to take a bite? Enquiring minds like mine want to know, because they really are impressively lovely.
Oops, you've already answered this elsewhere. Sorry!
All good 😊
Practicality doesn't come into presentation, doesn't it.
Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome!

Thias is perfect for my tea party, do you have any tips for small cakes and scones??
I am planning a video on small cakes, but haven't got one yet.
In the meantime have you tried adding chopped dates/walnuts/chocolate to scones?
@@EasyPeasyKitchen no i have not i will give it a try....i love dates :)
Beautiful. But how do we eat those once they get to the plate? I always wondered of I should pull the sandwich apart and eat parts separately... I know the question seems silly but I genuinely wanna know how....
I usually push it together with one hand and pull the stick out with the other so that you can enjoy the flavours all together. You could eat it in layers though if you feel it's too big for one bite.
