I have a t536li xp and two bli200 batteries. I also bought a husqvarna trimmer that came with a bli20 battery. After seeing this video I put the bli20 in my saw and it revved out just fine. Why do you say the orange batteries are for homeowner tools only? Also, I ran my string trimmer for nearly an hour with the bli200 battery in it. I think the only difference is in build quality.
I run a 540i XP with a BLi300, and a T540iXP with a BLi200X battery. I can confirm the 300, and 200X perform the same (i.e. very well!). I have used a friends normal 200 back to back in the T540i XP when my 200X ran out of charge, and there is a huge difference! The standard 200 bogs or stalls all the time when cutting hard with the saw, and it will flatten much quicker due to heavier loads on the saw. For example when dismantling a tree and logging the stump down. The 200X almost never cuts out unless you really crank the saw on the dogs. The difference really is significant... 👍
@@EshlemaniaTV in general really good. However I have had several teething issues, fan on motor broke a fin, chain brake switch stopped working, and Bluetooth connection has failed which have all been annoying, but those problems aside it’s a hugely capable saw. My only criticism would be that the chain tensioner is crap, and the chain regularly comes loose. Very frustrating. I’ve asked my local dealer to quiz husky about it for a fix, as I’ve seen in other reviews that I’m not the only one to experience this. A low chain oil warning light would be nice too. Those issues aside, it’s the saw I use for 90% of my work, including felling small trees (16” bar) and snedding up for the chipper. Just keep the chain sharp and it’s great. The stihl 441 only gets pulled out once I’m into wood over 16” in diameter. 👍
Thanks for your video! In case this helps anyone out there... I came on TH-cam today in desperation as I was having flashing red warning light on both my BLi300 battery and the charger. I live in South UK region and the single figure temp's we were experiencing, was messing around with my kit! Until recently, I was keeping the batteries in the garage - with my hedge cutters - but now realize they don't like this! It took several days before the BLi300 could begin charging as normal. I actually thought it had given up its spirit!
Thanks so much for ur video . Lots to take in . Am in the UK.. I've got a hedge cutter 115i and trimmer 115iL .I've just brought a 120i chainsaw but my batters dont fit
I have a full set of outdoor equipment that I won in a silent auction a few years ago. It came with one BLi20. I immediately purchase another. One is marked 2018 and the other 2019. The newer one died after 8 months. When shopping for another I could not find any. I did find BLi22 though. Can they be used in the things that use BLi20 and BLi30 batteries?
Pro "gray" batteries are 5yr warranty and made in SWEDEN. Commercial orange batteries are made in China and 1yr warranty. Something to really think about! What is 4yrs of warranty worth to you?
You can use any of the Husqvarna chargers for any of the Husqvarna batteries. The difference between all of the chargers is the wattage, which is why some chargers will recharge the batteries faster than others. The charger that came with your pole saw will recharge a BLi300 battery, but it will take a while because it charges at a lower wattage than a QC300 or QC500 charger does.
When I bought my professional saw, t536li xp, everything was sold separately. When I bought my string trimmer, it came as a kit with a charger and a bli20 battery. Not sure if that helps.
I wish I hadn't purchased husqvarna lawn equipment and went with e-go instead. Husqvarna melts some plastic shit over the leads so you can't replace battery cells in a battery pack. It wouldn't be a big deal if they did trade-ins but they don't and the cost of new batteries all the time is such that it wasn't worth the switch. :(
I won't ever buy a gas powered weedeater ever again. I own 3 husqvarna weedeaters. One with blade on it for clearing. Own bli300, bli200, bli200x, bli20 batteries. I did not ever use the quick chargers to recharge, just use the qc80 charger. I would not recharge with quick chargers due to the stress that is put on the batteries due to heat created during quick charging. Bli200, 200x, 300 have 5yr warranty on them vs 1yr on bli20/22 orange batteries. Pro gray batteries are made in SWEDEN. orange are made in PRC.. Peoples Republic of China in case you didn't know what PRC stands for.

What do you think of the 540iXP so far?

Yep 200 X has thicker cables than 200, so you are limited in power

Hello. How do we check how many power cycles a battery has been used for? Thank you
My son in-law just gave me a 120i chainsaw. Thanks for the battery info.
The 120i is a good chainsaw for around the home. We've had one on hand for a few years now and it gets a lot of use.
you are not talking about the lifetime cost ? some are rated for 600 cycles and the pro are 1500 cycles, that a huge difference.
what's cells are used
i not sure if Bli200X works on Lc137i , do you know ? Husqvarna should have more info about this on their website...
Nice l just switched to battery 520 trimmer and a 325 trimmer/ edger with 200x batteries so far there great I'm a professional landsaper
How do you like the 325? We've been considering getting one of them because of the versatility.
@@EshlemaniaTV love it so far l start work at 8 and the battery lasts till about 2 or 3 with the 200x thanks Harry Erhart Landscaping

I wonder do they all use the same charger will the charger that came with my pole saw charge the bli 300 .The pole saw has the bli 20 I think ?

when you buy a battery is charger with or buy separate?

I’m looking for used BLi300 or BLi200X batteries. Do you have any to sell?
Great stuff!
Thanks! And thanks for commenting!
FYI..consumer batteries work in pro battery equipment.
I thought "One battery fits all"?!
What a confusing system they have going! Volts and Ah should take priority.

I have already substituted the cells of a BLi10 battery with 30 Samsung 50E. So I have a BLi10 with 15Ah ... pretty huge isn’t it?
