Abel Ferrara is brilliant in his subtle nods to the poster of the 1978 remake with the main characters running from their shadows and in here we see at 0:33-0:43 shadows above Malone normal in daylight, then distorted in waning daylight/half night from 0:58-1:03 and normal again at 1:11 ironically (the three shadows) yet slight altered and distorted as if they've have changed into pods just as Collin's is talking about altering a view of a person's perceptions, false psychosis.

It's a good remake. Way better than that Nicole Kidman remake, but it has some flaws. I never knew it existed either and I thought I saw every Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but not this one.
