Hey, Steve. You missed step number one when dealing with small engines that have been sitting a while; check under the flywheel housing for mouse nests. They'll prevent the fan from doing its job. Also, fuel filter is on backwards. Now that I'm done being a dick, how are ya buddy? I don't know if you remember me but I'm the guy you bought your Cub Cadet Original from.
