For example, the lyric “I can make all the tables turn” could be interpreted three ways: 1) she’s “turning the tables” on the boyfriend 2) she’s “turning the tables” on the media portrayal of her 3) she’s “turning the tables” with her music (as in record turntables) I also like the little details. Like the fact the candy she’s eating is a candy heart (meaning she’s both metaphorically, and literally, a “heart eater”). So clever!
