Now it makes sense: the Bad Batch's scenario-operation for Plan 99 is referring to when 99 sacrificed himself on Kamino!!!!!
And moreover every time Saw shows up anywhere, he ruins everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omega is actually older than all of them , in the second last episode of last season she mentions seeing them in the tank , so she literally saw them grow

Man, Saw is the worst. It's like the opposite of not seeing the forest for the trees. He's so focused on saving the forest, every individual tree could be cut down before he noticed or cared.
I loved how the shots and the editing leading up to Tech's decision made it clear that this was not going to end well.
And I mean we should kind of have seen it coming considering that during this last episode they actually used a real orchestra for the score again.
Hemlock absolutely waited to pay off Sid until Hunter and Wrecker could hear. Jimmi Simpson is ruling as Hemlock.
This feels like the empire strikes back of the show

You mean, Tech's "death". I go by the rule of "no body, no death". Tech could have made it, but lost his goggles. We won't know until next season is released.

The part that really got me on top of everything that happened on the rail car was when Hunter leaped to Omega before the wall
The line was "secure the rail line." That could mean shut it down, or that could mean make sure it's guarded (which it was).

Yeah so? She's at most a couple years older. And besides that she's mentally younger than the rest of the BB.

The ending makes you wonder how many female clones were made? So far we know of two unaltered clones Boba Feet and Omega and in-between them is probably where age accelerated female and maybe male clones were done.
I actually think this season was much better and stronger than the first season. All those “filler” episodes had a purpose in developing the characters and making us feel a way about them. They used those episodes to flesh out Tech and Phee and how they began to intertwine and thus making his “death” more impactful. Speaking of Tech, I hope they keep him dead but we all know how Star Wars and Marvel are about resurrections and I’ve been conditioned that no body=no death. If Hemlock has his goggles, it could be safe to say that he has Tech. Bucky survived a pretty long fall and became the Winter Soldier sooo who’s to say what happened to Tech. I suspect that the remaining Batch teams up with Rex and company to run missions that will eventually lead them to Tannis where I suspect there’s going to be a big battle (maybe the long awaited Clone Uprising) where they end up retrieving Omega and Crosshair. Could that “sister” of Omega end up becoming an ally from the inside?
Jimmi Simpson, from Westworld, is the voice of Hemlock. Did a great job.
Concerning Omega and her innocence and childhood...remember she is a mandalorian and this ain't Kansas.
She came from a genetic stock of warriors. It's very similar to the upbringing that Bobba Fett had.
I love that they're going really dark, I wasn't really seeing a point for the BB series as a whole. Now I hope they start season 3 with them hunting down Cid and murdering her right then and there and then the season is a clone rebellion against the empire.

I'm okay if he died but the fact the most fragile thing on him , his glasses was all that was found, plus eriadu is a cold planet that's like space australia with all the crazy wildlife and tough terrain , it would make sense for the literal tech guy to have to turn into bear grylls /oliver queen . Also they have to figure out how to slow clone aging like in the EU , cause Rex is in return of the jedi
Tarkin used to have to go into the eriadu wilds as a young person , so someone else having to do the same is good storytelling
I want to believe that the 'no body=no death" situation is at work here. 🤞 Hemlock is just the kind of twisted creep that would use Tech's goggles to twist the knife, and keep Tech alive to experiment on with Crosshair. I want to believe... 😢
It simple doesn’t make any sense and would make the show objectively worse
@@riftplut0474how the hell did hemlock find his goggles connected to his head if he couldn’t find him 💀💀. There’s no one his entire body/gear disappeared and his goggles were the only thing left if he died they should’ve gotten crushed with the rest of his head.
Honestly my favorite direction this show could take is to slowly see the batch die (or removed in some other way) off and eventually be left with just omega and then you can use that character in some future property if you wanted

I don’t want it to be that depressing. I would live one clone at least. I think Wrecker would be the perfect clone to be left with her by the end.
They heard yah when you said they haven't been hit hard and never been in real danger this season. Be careful what we wish for, I guess.
But am I crazy to still hope, I mean Tech's goggles were bloodless... I could accept him being captured too and Hemlock just got his goggles as leverage
Other than the racing episode and maybe the Indiana Jones episode, WHAT EPISODES WERE TRYING TO BE A KIDS SHOW?
Crosshairs getting exposed to the Imperial arrogance and rising contempt for clones?
The political machinations of Palpatine to get stormtrooper legislation passed?
Environmental terrorism sweeping across Kashyyk as a surviving Wookie younglings tries to return home?
Natural disaster destroying a potential safe haven from the weary life on the run ?
Being stranded on a wasteland and forced to confront the loss of Echo, a beloved older brother figure?
You are so caught up in the LONG OUTDATED notion that animation = “kids show” that you somehow missed years of animated storytelling growing increasingly more adult and complex; bell, somehow you missed the vast majority of season to being MUCH more “Andor” like in its writing and storytelling

100% that the maturity and personality of the child is way more important than the age of the child to determine what content is appropriate for them (note - actually a parent). Details about the content of media is far more useful than a blanket "age" rating for media.

I think Saw didn’t get to set all the explosives he planned. He was interrupted by the Bad Batch. The rebellion is still working as independent cells and no one talks to the others. The Bad Batch absolutely acts like a tier one team on a mission. You would completely lose your mind if it wasn’t for cracking up. Obviously they can’t do the kind of jokes soldiers do in real life. It’d be rated R.

Each team screwed up the other's mission-
If Saw had been allowed to find the command center, they'd have seriously crippled the Empire's plans in the Outer Rim- and possibly saved Alderan!
If Saw wasn't there, the Bad Batch would have been in and out without anyone knowing.
Saw’s plan ended up making the whole mission pointless and caused the death of Tech and capture of Omega and ruined their chance at getting Crosshair back and finding Hemlock’s base

I'm especially gratified that *Keisha* *Castle-Hughes* is voicing her. She's been on my radar since WHALE RIDER (2002). And, of course, she was the 'Queen of Naboo' during the funeral scene at the end of REVENGE OF THE SITH (2005). #NerdyNightly #StarWars #TheBadBatch
Regarding the trains, I think Saw had his own" tech" person and they probably got things running again.
After all, Saw's people had to get there somehow.
They left on a ship, they probably arrived on that ship.
star wars has shown that different species age differently. If the clones are children, then grogu is pretty close to collecting social security. The clones don't have a lot of life experience, but difference in emotional maturity between, say, Wrecker and Tech and Echo, is just their modifications and just who they are as people.
Their experiences absolutely effect their maturity, keep in mind Omega is actually older than all of the Batch, she said she was there when they were cloned.
for sure and on top of that the story makes it pretty clear that Omega is still a child and the rest of the Batch are adults. The accelerated aging takes into account mental and emotional maturity. Talking about the adult clones being children just feels like it takes away what little agency they manage to scrape together for themselves in the course of the story.
I think Vox Machina did a better job with managing an ensemble cast in their second season, but Grog and Wrecker hanging out would be pretty hilarious. Vax and Scanlan's VOs are both in this season as the regulars at Cid's bar.
Could it be that Omega's "sister" is actually the source material for Omega's DNA the way Jango Fett was the source material for the clone's DNA?
Also, until I see Tech's body, it's possible he's still alive (somehow). Hemlock was able to find his goggles...how far away could his body have been? Unless someone found him and took him away to heal. (Mountain Ewoks? 🤷♂️)
Claruce has never seen adult animation until seeing Harley Quinn? Girl, you need to check out early seasons of Archer. Or The Venture Brothers. Or Aqua Teen Hunger Force 😂
Oh...And was I the only one getting Raiders if the Lost Ark vibes from Omega trying to stand down Hemlock? I half expected Hemlock to say "Blow it up! Blow it back to God"

I think its a good debate being with Saw or The bad batch in this mission. But ultimatly i do think they would just change manegment lets not forget, we paint Tarkin as this incredible vilan but in the end he fails by hubris the same same way most of the empire does, thinking the rebel figthers dint have a chence to win, any other manager\commander would probbably do the same (Thrown being the exception probably 😂)
I was 11 when the movie Heavy Metal came out. I finally saw it when I was 12 or 13.
I get that sometimes the show goes more pg at times, but honestly it doesn't bother me too much. Those episodes are a bit less interesting but still enjoy our team

you're pretty weird, I always "watch" on my smart TV. so I don't ever comment on the "Commentators" I follow. That would be silly, simply turn you off...you almost always seem to giggle up until the point and sometimes after (See Tech's death) "is tech gonna die, giggle giggle....until your in tears. bro that's some easily anticipated emotional swings. I know their animated...but they are rife with disappointment for our heroes and very often death. but you just "giggle on" I'm thinking it must be some type of copping mechanism. "Weird"
I think I big problem I had with the “filler” episode wasn’t the kiddish part it was it was feeling too repetitive.
I am hoping for some time skip to age up Omega as well. Personally I think a time skip after saving Omega and Crosshair(maybe midway season 3) would be a perfect place to do it. But also we don’t know how long it will take for Bad Batch to find the lab. But it shouldn’t take that long imo since all you have to do is tract down where they are taking prisoner clones.(easier said then done)
Like you said I personally feel they have done all the can do with Omega at this point of her life. Aging her up will help more to get more mature stories with her also I really want Omega to get a helmet and armor already.
