Man there’s just something magical about the 80s. Everyone talks about it. Maybe it was the simpler times. High school and college. Our formative and fun years. And now as our families are growing older. Our kids go to college and break out on their own we realize we’ve crossed that line. The best times are behind us.

i saw him perform in a small Venue around this same time . Amazing performance he sounded as good as when i first saw him with the Babys in 1979 and as good as he was with Bad English 1989 . Whats crazy is the crowd at the performances looks like my parents or even my grandparents. And I think even though i Still have long hair and am not grey and really look 10 years younger then my age. Like John Waite We are that old and even though this amazing music was popular in our time . I have to accept that This Future that we currently are living in is basically devoid of anything that we found musically appealing or exciting in our days. Nothing like the 80s. Pure laser light. The sound was incredible, the artists real, the singing was talent not a computer pitch control. And the music then could create emotion. Today's music sounds like it is written and performed by computers. Not even music. I don't listen to modern music.

This guy has had a killer voice since I first heard him when our band covered “A Piece Of The Action” way back when. Again and again he popped up, always putting his brand on every musical endeavor. Still sounding great… and these morning, no atmosphere at all, bright light gigs are the hardest. Great job.
He just became a U.S.citizen..wow he's been living in the Santa Monica area for years. I caught his show in LA a fews years back and afterwards I ran up to him on 5th ave and congratulated him on fine performance.

I've been a poet and started singing at 50 only because of being locked at home during Covid, and these 80's singers have taught me as much as anyone in my first year singing, 2000 hours in and 700 recordings in my first year, loving singing, other poets should try transitioning, good luck
