Just to avoid visiting the dealership all the time 😅 Thanks budd 🤟🏻
The best model to own is definitely a 2013-2015 naturally aspirated g wagon no g63! The fact that those engines don't have turbos means they are rock solid reliable. My g63 has had a lot of issues with seals and plastic parts because the heat from the turbo engine output puts strain on every plastic part
That makes sense, then I’m gonna change my search to a 550 from now on, I don’t really care about the power I love the look and the way they drive. I really appreciate it budd, 🙏🏻
@@mohammedmerza7410 you'll see that the mileage on rhe used car market on those are much higher because people really drive them! But after a certain year I believe they go to single turbo I think in 16
@@mohammedmerza7410 yeah completely. Just be sure to check for valve cover leaks, and oil pan leaks since they're older but use it to your advantage to push price even more down. I think those are rhe best models before the g class switch to the single turbo and to the twin turbo
Why do you think I got an overheated car? When I went through the top end of the engine it was clean. Typically german cars have bad plastics and seals naturally go bad.
Did all this happen in two years? Were you not able to see any of this coming? I always question people who are shocked and annoyed that Mercedes are expensive to repair 😂
Well I could see it coming but what I didn't was rust, and both turbo chargers leaking. Both of those turbos needed a full engine out service to replace them. All the other things I am fairly used to, but those major things made me question Mercedes most rough and tough vehicle
The more I learn about the ridiculous maintenance on European luxury cars, the more and desirable they become. I like the 2015-17 G63 but I know it's a flaming turd of a vehicle. Mercedes designs them to fail and need constant maintenance. Smart money buys LEXUS. An LX570 will give you years of trouble free reliability.
The 13-18 doesn't change except for the Navi. My daily driver is a lexus hahah. There's no way I could drive the g everyday. The maintenance is too much. Open heart surgery to do anything on it.
