The main reasons people say it's easy is because: 1. They charge full on at Ricardo when he shows up. 2. Fluid Sac 3. They used Ishmael as sacrificial bait for one of his counters 4. The goons don't do jack that's truly relevant. Ideally, you should never let Ricardo pull off his 7 Atk Weight move ever. He's supposed to have been staggered at that time or skipped that phase.
I still don't have fluid sac. From what I understand, I think it's better than Representation Emitter. But that's all I have and it generally works quite well.
@@hazenkorakagaming I'd suggest grinding for it if you can. Fluid Sac hitting heads both heal HP and refunds SP cost, unlike Representation Emitter that doesn't fully heal SP.
@@hazenkorakagaming fluid sack is outstandingly better than representation emitter, not only does it heal 15 SP for everyone on the team(including faust) it also restores some of their HP and its resources are 4 gloom, 3 envy, and a single lust

man i remember hitting a wall with this boss for the first week after release, i just decided "hmm what if i just run Nclair and R-ish as a duo" and it fucking worked. they deal an absurd amount of blunt dmg while only taking half themselves
you can literally go through this stage with any team, it's only important that everyone can have resistance to blunt damage. i passed it when ID was a lvl30, and only Ishmael had stagger effects. so it's not necessary to have super pumped ID.

honestly, im kinda glad i didnt get fluid sack until after i cleared canto 5.5, i can see why one'd over rely on it

With Dieci Hong Lu, you can replace the bottom row of skills with an evade to avoid discarding, and maintain his current insight
That's a good tactic, good idea thanks. I found that Hong Lu was way too weak this Canto, and ended up using other Sinners.

Using Ishmael as bait is a good way if you are struggling she's practically immortal and won't die until everyone else dies
