Try an NClair + Ishmael combo for hair coupon guy. Ishmael's also invincible for this fight so definitely abuse that Hair coupon guy is trying to show players that smaller teams can be better than bigger teams sometimes.

What happened in canto IV was really weird tbh. Why was the "special" boss id for Yi Sang spicebush? Why is there no Farmwatch Id? And why are both of those bosses only used on the story mode? I mean, they aren't present in MD or RR like every other story boss…

I have many times tried to start Limbus Company but compared to Lobotomy Corp and Library of Ruina, the sound effects and hits feels so... lackluster. The cards and dice feel so whack for some reason. It feels like it lost its soul at some point.
I'd really recommend coming back to it. The special effects are honestly starting to exceed LoR. I 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 Library of Ruina, but PM pumping out consistent content at a fair speed has seriously gotten them in the groove of things. Just check out the newest Canto's bossfight. It's clear they're slowly ramping up the power levels, just like LoR. We're still in the early game, keep in mind. I will admit the first two and a half cantos are pretty rough though lol

There is something very visceral and catchy in the previous game sound effects and animations. Even the simple red mist or the w serum feels good because they are unexpected, when everything is over the top nothing is. Well some game may do it, but limbus surely didn't. And limbus or more like never made any op game it was always the more "You are weak until you know the game" type of games they made which was lost too. Not to mention the new purple variants of the same effect. This is just a subjective pov, but I like it more when the Mc or group of Mc explores the world and various stories and their stories comes as a small side dish until it evolves in a big story. With Limbus Cantos focusing solely on sinner back stories the great reveal would just be Dante. I really dislike this kind of story. But as I said, this point is just my pov it has nothing to do with the game. But over after 7 years of playing different gaccha games, I have lost all hope from them, they never really ramp up the difficulty in a intuitive way and it just becomes a dps/burst race war. Consistent content is a good point, but PM always delivered it in Lobotomy and LoR too, and specially LoRs story is still larger compared to limbus. PM always delivered good food I just didn't want it in a shtty plate that's it.

Lob corp had some cut content because KJH college funds ran out and LoR relied on patreon to break even. Limbus company as much as you hate it will be the building blocks for other games PM will make such as visual novel distortion detective Lob corp 2( except your a wing) etc. PM explicitly stated that Limbus is just there so they can have reliable funding for other games in the series essentially.

I always found it very weird how exceptionally character writing studio chooses to make a gaccha game aside from the starting cast no new main cast is introduced, you get egos as gaccha. Now that explains that they didn't want Limbus to ruin the setup of the city so they are focusing on sinners as much as possible. And the fact that they didn't drag LoR into this proves that(till now) they have bigger plans. That justifies the gaccha route I guess, well more and more gaccha companies are making real games with gaccha money. That's a really happy thing. But in the 1st place I never really complained about story of Limbus, it's PM it's going to be good, I'm just sad that tight, free and fluid gameplay of PM is lost because of the power creeping nature of gaccha games.
