Hi Hai Mingle! So I’m in Kobe right now. Should I buy the Hankyu or Hanshin pass? I want to go to the gold, silver, and taiko no yu onsens! :) also tomorrow I leave for Osaka so I’m also debating if I should just wait until tomorrow to buy a Hanshin/Hankyu pass. I also know there’s the “Arima Onsen Taikou-no-yu” pass but it only seems cost effective if I use it on the day I leave for Osaka? So maybe wake up early. Buy that pass and go from Kobe to Arima and then back from Arima to Kobe, and Kobe to Osaka? Again I’m currently in Kobe! Thank you 🙏

Hi Miguel, I hope you are enjoying your holiday!! I agree to your plan to go for the Arima Onsen Taikou-no-yu" pass for tomorrow (the day you travel from Kobe to Osaka), this way you can fully utilize the pass as you have to travel a long journey. Hanshin or Hankyu depends on where your hotel is located in Osaka. If it is close to Namba, you can opt for Hanshin, but if it is close to Umeda, then choose Hankyu. If you decide to go to Taikou-no-yu, it has both gold and silver hot springs. There are baggage lockers available at Arima Onsen Station, or you can leave your baggage in the hotel concierge. Yes, get up early is the key! Have fun!! 😊

@@haimingle6780thank you!!!! It was amazing. So my next destination is Nara. I’m currently in Osaka near Nishikujo. Google maps says I should take the hanshin line to Nara. But my hotel in Kyoto is in Gion, near Keihan Railways.
So now I’m confused if I should buy the hanshin pass or Keihan pass :(((
Current itinerary. Osaka>Nara>Kyoto>anywhere around Gion / night activities in Kyoto

You can take Kintetsu line to go to Nara and then also take Kintetsu Line to Kintetsu-Tambabashi station and change to Keihan Line to reach Gion in Kyoto. (You have to buy ticket for Keihan Line, but NOT a day pass). You can check with the staff at Kintetsu Line station to compare the costs between Kintetsu Day Pass and an individual ticket.

@@coconut10able Yes, you can! The nearest station is Sanda Station and it is part of the Kobe Electric Railway, which would be covered by the Kansai Thru Pass!!
