Don't use a ropeman2, they will compromise your rope in short order. I use a rope man 1 for all my ropes.

Thanks for the heads up. I saw where the Ropeman 2 actually has sharp teeth or barbs, but I haven’t personally used one.

@GetOutdoorsSouth your welcome and yes it'll tear up a rope sheath pretty quickly. I use 8mm ropes, and I use a ropeman 1 and have never had an issue. I use a large carabiner also. And no it is not within manufacturing guidelines but it's help up to every test I tossed at it.

saddles with a chess harness are much better in my opinion and the saddle doesn't fall down.

Tactical belt holder harness with Molle shoulder straps keeps calls and everything on your shoulder pockets and hang your bag lower I use padded waist belt to bag wrapped around tree for knee brace
