I made a mistake! 5:11 In the "Connect to Twitch" node. I have the "Twich Chat" variable executing off of the top pin. It should be coming off of the "On Successful Login" pin, the second from the top. This is a common mistake and I forgot about it. If your blueprint isn't doing anything, this is why. UPDATE: Twiworks has released version 2.0, which changes some of the ways you do things. Please check the documentation to see if any of my tutorial has been depreciated: docs.h2cstudios.com/twiworks/troubleshooting/version_2_upgrade/ Also, my newer tutorials go over some of this information in a better way, since I've learned a lot since this tutorial was made
Hi, Man thanks for the video its helpfull. But i have a question do we have to start twitch stream in a differrnt maner or its just turn it on and start messaging as i cant get the character to wave
Hiya! You don’t have to start the stream in a special way, Twiworks just watches the chat room. You don’t even need to be streaming. There’s a lot of issues that could be causing it. Double check that the client ID is correct and that Twitchworks is updated. It also doesn’t seem to be compatible with 5.2. It works on 5.1, which is what I’m using. Also check the pinned comment because I made an editing mistake that can cause confusion. If that doesn’t help, feel free to find me on Twitter and send a message so we can use screenshots and stuff to isolate the problem
Is there any way you could make a tutorial on how to make a player list (!join) so people from twitch can spawn in to the level with their names on a leaderboard? I have looked everywhere for the info but cant seem to find anything - thanks!!

The Twiworks thing every time I push play that should be popping up in my browser isnt
does it work as streamer in youtube?
This plugin only works with Twitch. TH-cam doesn’t seem to have chat interaction stuff going on under the hood.
