Ofcourse there is a probability but we can put emergency condition on it. That during war you can't refuse to sell oil to any other party

अपने ऑयल रिजर्व्स बाहर के देशों में बनाने से पहले भारत को दो बार सोचना चाहिए क्योंकि यह सारे देश हमारी संपत्तियों को छोटे मोटे कारण बताकर कभी भी जब्त कर सकते हैं। जैसा कि उन्होंने अभी रूस के 300 बिलीयन निगल लिए।

Those reserved will be used for hedging. India will not physically use that oil, but will sell it as a hedge.
The day India stop dancing to their tune, they will even hesitate in freezing our oils reserves.

In times of war , oil companies increase oil prices that will be imposed on general public.
As time passes these strategic oil reserves will be sold out to foreign companies they will stop oil supply when india is at war.

anyways abhi russia ukraine war hua russia ke assets like gold,bonds properties etc west me thi. un countries ne russia ke assets seize kar liye aur usi ko ukraine ko dene lage hai.
strategic se yaha pe matlab hota hai jab sab kuchh uncertain ho war type situation ho etc to kabhi bhi hume oil ki kami na pade. agar ye bhi west me rahne lage to fir ho gaya na beda paar.

The problem is, if India goes to war against China in future, they can easily destroy our oil reserves by missile strikes.
That's why the govt. is moving it's oil reserves to countries like the US, Japan and South Korea. These countries have a huge problem with China too, just like India.
Hence they will support us during a war with China and will ensure continuous oil supply to India even in dangerous wartimes.
