Season 6 of The Flash has to be the worst season of the show yet and a lot of that has to do with the episodes that came out after Crisis on Infinite Earths. However, why is Season 6 so bad? I hate all the scenes where the team or barry himself goes something like "We are all The Flash" or "This team is what makes The Flash" i miss Season 1 barry when he could still think through problems on his own, like reversing the tornado in the pilot, or creating a wind barrier for the tidal wave etc. when every conflict wasnt fixed by someone on team flash telling barry some emotional bs and saying for him to "run barry run"

Why I stopped watching can’t get a fight without teammates chiming in or telling Barry he can’t do it alone he does it alone he’s the damn flash
The thing I hate is how literally every time barry is in a situation where he can't remeber who he is or can't fight iris is somehow always the one thats able to bring him back. Remeber when he came out of the speed force and lost his mind? Did they use science to fix that? No it was iris. Rember when he lost his memory because of a machine? Surely they used science to fix that...right? Nope it was a speech from iris. And then of course he turned out to be the paragon of love. I also hate that iris just decieded she was the leader because she was married to barry. There is no reason that a reporter that knows almost nothing about science should be leading a team of scientists and super heros.
I 100% agree. I have nothing against the actress but Iris is used way too much in the show. She should be a supporting role at best not one of the main characters. I didn't sign up for Barry and Iris. I signed up for THE FLASH
Finally someone said it!!! Like it's sooo annoying! We want to see the flash which includes Cisco Caitlin barry and Harrison wells! Not barry and Iris or how important their love is like it's so overused for a superhero show
In one of the crossovers Oliver even rightly mocks Barry for needing constant motivational speeches to do anything.

I think that the main problem with the second half of season 6 was a lack of focus. There was just to many story lines like god speed, eva and the mirror dimension, nash wells and reverse flash.
Yeah I kinda wished they focused on just the stuff related to crisis. I feel like then the season would feel more connected. If that makes sense.
I don’t think it was all bad Ep.10 was “good” episodes 11 and 12 were shitsu 13 was pretty good imo ep.14 was also good ep.15 was all over the place but it was fine I don’t think it was bad eps. 16-18 were filler mostly imo ep.19 is forgettable so Idk honestly I’ve watched this entire show so many times but I can’t remember the plot of this episode. But I think S4 was the worst S5 had a lot of Family drama between Barry, Iris, Nora but at least it was realistic family drama let’s say your daughter became best friends with your greatest enemy Barry’s reaction would’ve been anyone’s reaction to just be mad but then he accepted her. Which again is realistic like Joe said S3E20 “Love is the only thing we have in this world without nothing really matters who knows who we’d become if we didn’t have it” so Barry out of love for his daughter forgave her so I don’t think S5 is the best season but it’s definitely 2nd worse worst being S4 coz Iris.
exactly there wasn't a main problem there was too many things and it left us with a horrible cliffhanger
after season 3 this show became too kid friendly i miss the old days when it was just barry cisco and caitlin the only reason i still even watch this show is because it was my childhood as a kid it was my favorite show and now its garbage

So true. it was like they maybe "thought" they could appeal to a wider audience by being less dark? Ralph and his "powers" looked awful, always did, and was too goofy. Instead of going off S3's ending where killer frost/kaityln snow were one, they went for milking them individually non-stop. "This house is bitchin" from barry's unknown language scenario is when everyone should've known there was an issue. Nevertheless I actually really enjoyed Devoe/The Thinker+Marlise and the villain scenario, but after that it just became pathetically bad.
Season 4 I would say was not very kid friendly lmao

Yeah I feel like the writers could have merged a few characters from other earths into the new one. But we did loose a lot of good characters.

@@GIGio_Official They did merge characters. In Supergirl, we got like, 5 different Braniac 5s.
Merging doesn't make sense though. All of the universes were destroyed and then the Paragons made one that merged their separate universes into 1. By that logic, they only recreated what they knew and then universal logic blended it all together. No other universes should have been able to cross over since they were destroyed and never recreated by the Paragons. The Earth-Prime universe creation didn't account for the multiverse so no other multiverse should have been created for other people to come from. From what we saw, even people that knew of the multiverse didn't know of the existence of other universes because other universes didn't exist. They restarted 1 universe from the beginning of time so no other Earth for people to breach from should have existed. The fact that other universes still exist when technically, they never did in the first place is a plothole. Then again, Lucifer's universe (Earth-666) still exists when that should have been destroyed along with all of the others so who knows what they did.
The best villian was Zoom imo. Season 2 was the high of the show

Personally I think the Gillian needs to have a personal relationship with the hero. The reason why 1 and 2 were so good was because both Harrison Wells (Eobard) and Jay Garrick were close mentors and colleagues that Barry had built strong relationships with

Scratch that. Remember when Barry was light hearted cool charachter and not a Oliver Queen soap opera version? Remember when the show focused on the main charachters, allowing them to evolve? @@GIGio_Official I do admit that seasons are very long because of the side characters getting focus. The seasons could be reduced to about 10/13 episodes not 23 because it does take so long to get through them. I admit also that they do focus more on Barry and Iris rather than just Barry. Maybe we’ll get that in the next season, who knows?

When bloodwork showed up towards the end, I thought "okay they are going to try and tie it all together. " oh how wrong I was.
We knew he wasn't. They had been saying in interviews for months leading up to and even passed the premiere that we were getting multiple main villains this year. They were handing out this information like free candy on Halloween. This isn't rocket science people.
If it made the season better, that is purely subjective (I personally loved Bloodwork and that he wasn't dragged through the mud like Savitar, DaVoe and Cicada were. I like his story actually having stakes).
Crisis had the potential to be like the CW’s Version of Infinity War. But the reason infinity wars is significantly better, is that it actually has aftermath and that is the focus.
True, I need to rewatch crisis without my Arrow bias. And something tells me it wont hold up.

and not to mention that Endgame had actual balls it killed off not one but two primary characters and they are PERMA-DEAD Flash as a show should have ended at crisis like Arrow did and they should have had Oliver die the way he did but also had Barry disappear the way he was supposed to instead of just copping out. and the flash could have ended with the slight implication that Barry might still be alive; where Oliver died Barry just goes missing.
Crisis was decent. To me, it felt very much like a comic book come to life with all of the characters splitting up to do stuff connected to the main story. It was cool.
For Flash though, Pre-Crisis season 6 was the best that the show has been since season 2. It had problems but it was really good- to the point where I thought it'd be better if Flash just had mini-seasons with a full season sized budget.
@@bludj992 The first half of Season 6 was good because it actually had a goal; Crisis. After they finished Crisis it became clear that CW has no idea what to do with the show anymore
S1 to 3 was the peak of the flash. Season 4 imo was good too because barry wasnt being a side character but the focus on iris and the body swapping for devoe really ruined that season. And season 5 and 6 the budget and effects look really bad
I agree, I feel like the shows budget has gotten cheaper and cheaper.
The show might have a set budget which is why with increased cast members, the effects and writing get worse 🤷♂️.
I've recently re-watch seasons 1&2 of the flash during quarantine and I dispare. The Flash was grown up and darkish. To season 6 where it's a full team of 9/10 characters, Barry can't figure out how to do anything alone, Cisco and Caitlyn are in and out of the show, everyone knows The Flash's true identity, the villian's become more and more useless. Post crisis season 6 I could barely watch and I barely did. The show became background noise.

Savitar and zoom were cool villains aswell. My only main problem with savitar was how they didn’t dive deeper with savitars backstory and I think he had the best reveal ever in flash. I just wish there was some more episodes in season 3
it's because flash unlike Batman or Superman doesn't really have a good rouge's gallery. this is why nearly every good dc show that has actually worked in the past like the animated justice league show had Flash as more of a secondary character with Batman,Superman and Wonder Woman as the main focus.

The reason they use Reverse Flash so much is because he is too good of a villain to not use, and I personally like him being in every season because he is my favorite villain and I like his dynamic with Barry. Just my opinion, not hating

Season 1 will always be the best out of the show. The Flash just continue to dip in quality with each season. I'm glad I tuned out a while back.
Barry isn't even the main character anymore. it seems like he loses his powers every season now and iris becomes the main character mine as well call the show Irish West. like how is he suppose to be the flash when he loses his powers like every season after 3 i wouldn't even be surprised if he got his powers taken away again in season 7 or they kill him for a couple episodes because death means nothing to the team flash and Iris gains powers. why does Iris west get more story time then Barry Allen the main character i dont watch the flash for 50% Iris West 30% The flash and 20% everyone else.
Yeah I really hate how death has ment nothing on the show for a while. Seriously what character has stayed permanently dead since season 3. The show had a great opportunity to kill off barry for the rest of the season during crisis and really get the audience to feel that impact, but now it seems like the build up of the flash disappearing in crisis was a waste. And I agree that Barry doesn't get enough screen time.

Barry Allen losing his powers in season 6 is like Oliver queen going to jail in season 7 except they did it way better in arrow.

And now season 7 has been even worse than the last 3 seasons so far. Here’s to hoping it’ll end on a decent note with Godspeed being the main villain and them reintroducing Nora along with Impulse
I’ll be honest, Bloodwork and the Pre-Crisis arc was my favorite story in a very long time since Zoom in S2. I loved the infection story of Barry trying to fight him in his mind, losing the fight and giving into anger and negativity by attacking the Speed Force. It was a great perfectly sized story instead of stretching it out like Cicada’s or Eva’s.
the only thing that got me going in post-crisis was the Ralph storyline, which says a lot that their c-storyline is the much interesting
True, honestly whenever post crisis became the main focus of an episode it sparked my interest, bit it was never the main focus so I couldn't get fully invested.
And then Ralph got fired because of a tweet he made years ago so his and Sue's story have virtually no impact on season 7.

Season 1 and 2 were pretty good mostly cause of the small cast. Season 3 was meh mostly cause of the villain’s motivation. season 4 I mostly watched cause I wondered what they were gonna do with the Thinker, but season 5 is definitely the season that broke the love of the series for me at least. I don’t even know if I even watched the other seasons.
The large amount of main characters and post crisis episodes are the main issues for me. Black Hole is an interesting concept but once again it comes to execution.
True, something can have a good concept, but a god awful execution.
Episode 18 should have been the season finales. Episode 19 was a “wtf?”
I need to watch those last two episodes so hopefully they ties the season together nicely for me. I will reply with my thoughts after I watch it.

if the writers weren't protecting their paychecks and had any respect for the story they would have killed both barry and oliver off in the crisis. Oliver dies the same way but Barry still disappears. endgame had the balls to permakill two of their best characters Tony and Natasha. yet the crisis event was just a massive cop-out. for Barry Allen. the flash should have ended at the same time as arrow did.
way eva is the worst Villain in the show is because she wasn't even a Villain until the show just decided she was one.
she could have just been a woman desperate to escape the mirror dimension and this caused her to resort to more unethical methods out of sheer fear and desperate. but nope she just becomes a mustache twirler because plot.

It's insane to me. Season 6 being better than even Season 4 breaks my brain, let alone Season 3. S1-2 did things right, I'd say the ideal thing would've been to keep the darker tone but switch the stories of Season 3 and 4's order (so devoe/thinker first, then you get savitar the next season). But any of that never mattered to say "oh they made some mistakes" because once Season 5 began they proved they didn't care if they made a trillion bad decisions and they haven't stopped just let up, but somehow it's now even more boring.
They have Pre-Crisis 6 in their top 3. It's the best the show has been since season 2.
im struggling bc i am painfully aware of how bad this show has gotten but i got completely hooked on season 1 and I just.. cant. stop. watching it. no matter how bad and boring it gets i still feel so invested in every single episode its honestly a problem

I feel like flash just needs a solid script that focusses on 1 villian, a speedster villian. There should be less filler episodes and each episode should enspark a mystery that is progressively solved throughout the season. The mystery should be linked to the main villian and main plot, not some random subplot, and should keep us on edge. Once the mystery is solved, it should provide a statisfaction feeling for the viewers. And u know, u can always incorporated character development etc. within the episodes.
Bloodwork was like the only good non speedster villain.

Season 2 pretty much perfected season 1's ideas (it even had a time travel episode that was really good imo, despite me usually hating those kinds of episodes. It also had Patty. Even SnowBarry fans wanted Patty and Barry to get together). It got so bad after that that by season 4, I stopped watching. ReactOutLoud's SnowBarry cracks were how I watched season 5 (and it looks like I made the right choice).
What baffles me is that the show still seems to have a 6/7+ rating.
the reason they are bringing in these new “pointless characters” could have something to do with the fact that every main actor on the show will have their contract expire after season 7. this could be the reason characters like chester (cisco replacement) and other characters are there, for long term reasons this would make sense, i’m just assuming though not sure...
Yeah I can see that being a possibilty, but the problem is that there are so many characters that it ends up giving no one time to grow. If the want to cut a character like Cisco than do that before we get a new character so they can get a final send off. At least that is what I would do.

Season 3 should have been a proper Flashpoint and season 4 could have been what season 3 was. I don't think the show should have ended after that because that's an unsatisfying ending.

What i most hate about the recent seasons of the show is even though its called the flash they insist making it about literally everyone else an d because of that most of the plot is about other people. what i hate even more is that that they made the paragon of love i mean i came to watch a guy in spandex who runs really fast fight another fast guy with cooler spandex. they even more bizzare stuff in season 7
The show has definitely gotten weird even for comic book standards and the focus has become less and less on Barry.
The Flash lasted two seasons. It was cancelled in my mind after season 3. So glad I gave up after that 🙄

The thing I hated the most about season 6 was the finale where Carver is being a jerk to Barry, Ralph, Nash, and Allegra even though they’re trying to protect him and not only that but when the final fight was about to start between Eva’s henchman and Team Flash, it just ends so abruptly.

This season is so much better than 4 and 5 though. Its not the worst, i could see how post crisis got out of hand but you have to judge the season by the whole not only half of the season. There is major improvement in the episodes in comparison to season 4 and 5. This season is technically not even over, all im saying is to wait for the first 3 episodes of s7 to see what the actually finale episodes are. That is when a final opinion should be shown.
I get what your saying. For me I because I'm so passionate about the show I could wait and had to get my option out there. I do play on making two follow ups though, one after I watch the last two episode of the season as I can I've my opinion of the full season as was given, and after the first 3 episode of season 7 to see if those make the season more complete. As of now I'm still not a fan of this season but I'm hoping the last 2 episodes can tie it all together for me.
G.I. Gio Ye the actor who plays Mirror Mistress said in an interview that the last 3 episodes would be very “comprimed” (dont really know if thats the real word), so the last 3 eps might have been rly good but idk.

The only thing I disagree is the fact that you judge Eva because of her connection to Barry. That doesn’t define a good villain or not... Example: Emiko from Arrow. Terrible villain. Even though she had clear connections to Oliver. Damien Darhk is another villain I absolutely love (he made S4 watchable) and he had no connection to Oliver
Thanks for the support man. With the villain thing with Eva, when I say connection i don't mean like family, but more like ideological or emotional connection that also challenges the Hero. Emiko was the "main villain" but the season was about Oliver's decisions and past coming back to haunt him and to decide what the legacy of the green arrow is going to be. I would nee to rewatch season7 though. And Damien Dark had a connection with Oliver through the totem. He has seen the damage that it can do and knows he has to get it out of Damien's hands and they where interacting with each other all through out the season. Also him killing Laurel definitely established a connection between him and Oliver. Barry shared what a few lines with Eva.

I used to love this show but I literally can’t watch the later season because they make you go to 3 different shows just to get caught up to the show I actually want to watch.
I think the problems with the show, at least for season 6, is that the showrunners didn't have a plan post crisis so nothing really interesting happens.
I think what hurt the most with Eva was the fact all she wanted was to escape the world she was trapped in and also to kill her husband for abandoning her. But when she got what she wanted, they had to shoehorn in a world-destruction plot for her.
Pre-Crisis was incredible. I loved Bloodwork, I loved the Crisis buildup. The Nash storyline intrigued me every week. And The 2 part finale was so damn good. Post-Crisis has what I call the “Arrow Season 7B problem” where the overarching storyline sucks balls but there are numerous entertaining standalone episodes. Arrow Season 7B had the Emerald Archer, Star City Slayer, Spartan, Confessions, Living Proof, You Have Saved This City. The Flash Season 6B had Marathon, Grodd Friended Me, Death of the Speed Force, the Exorcism of Nash Wells, Liberation, Pay the Piper and if you count it, Speed of Thought (that’s a season 7 episode but it’s part of the Mirror storyline).
I have been watching Flash on air since season 3 and I have enjoy every season. Some may be a campy but I still have fun watching the show. This season has been my third favorite season after 1 and 2. The Bloodwork story was amazing for precrisis.Then I may be alone in this, but I like when they brought back old villains for the second half of the season, even if it didn't have to do with Eva, I liked seeing them come back. I am not going to fully judge on how good of a villain Eva until I see the first episodes of season 7, which will wrap up her story. Right now, I think she is better than Cicada, and that's it.
I get what your saying. I thought bloodwork was great too. As for Eva she just isn't my kind of villain. I like villain that have a deep connection with the hero whether it be emotional or ideological. Still need to watch the last 2 episodes but I'm not sure if that is going to save her for me to even want to see her story finish in season 7, but I will give it a chance.
I agree with you definitely my 3rd favorite season. They should have made Bloodwork main villain for whole season (he was a solid antagonist).

Smallville went for 10 years without Clark ever being completely on his own (excluding the very beginning of Season 9) and it worked out perfectly. I'm not sure what everyone expected when The Flash was announced because the first two seasons are no different than everything else. The tone is, but Barry still has guidance from those at Star Labs, Joe still gives speeches, Barry still loses his speed once a season, time travel is still used almost every season, the only difference now is that there's new characters since the first couple seasons. There's virtually nothing different between the first seasons of the show and the most recent. Again, I think everyone dislikes the plots they choose to develop when they execute them fine enough where it's enjoyable. Are their executions like Breaking Bad? Of course not, but they're still enjoyable nonetheless. I haven't been given a reason to stop watching the show and, if you ask me, season 6 has the most amount of "best" episodes the show's ever done. Basically every episode up until Crisis trumps anything from S3, 4, & 5 What's Past is Prologue. The back half (minus Marathon I think, when Amunet returned) would have solidified 6 as the best season in years had it been finished before COVID. They did Godspeed justice by introducing him when Barry was losing his speed (along w Thawne) because it really amplified just how powerful they were, even if GS was another clone. A clone kicked Barry's ass effortlessly, what's the real one gonna do to him?
Clark only got help when he needed it. CW Barry seemingly needs help just to get out of bed.

But normal criminals with no gadgets or powers walk down the street and Barry, the man with superspeed somehow can't catch them and says they're gone. Clark also didn't go through a constant cycle of being beaten by a villain in their first fight, losing hope then getting a cliche motivational speech and winning the rematch unlike Barry.
@@Xehanort10 clark had the guidance from jonathan, jor-el, lionel, john j'onnz, lana, lois, chloe, tess, even lex in the earlier seasons. criminals didn't escape because of kryptonite, they were created by it, just like the criminals in the flash by the particle accelerator. the whole not being able to catch them is just so the episodes don't end in 5 minutes lol, ofc he could just run the entire city in flashtime in a split second, but that'd be no fun, would it? clark got his ass handed to him for 10 years straight and if he didnt have the support he did would never have found the strength to defeat the villains he faced. barry's not an alien, he was chosen to be the flash and he needs to be reminded what that means sometimes.
Honestly agree with the main plot that you are getting at and I'm glad I saw this. I thought season 5 was a huge game changer with just Nora her self. But of course that had to change and I thought that most of season 6 would be team flash dealing with problems from that or problems from the reverse flash. The ending fight scene is just sick and I was just really bummed how they didn't close the ends
Yeah I feel like if we all had to guess about what would happen post crisis, no one would be able to predict this. The season is just wasted potential to me.
They need to stop with team flash and add in more speeders like in the comics
I would definitely like to see more speeders, but the show needs to cut some characters first and make sure that they have a villain or team of villains that can take down multiple speedsters.

Well, we were seemingly getting that in Season 3. There is still bad writing/direction going on regardless, so can't entirely blame either "side here," but fanboy/girl outcry over "every villain isn't a speedster" just let to a downfall. Savitar is super-underrated it doesn't matter if it was predictable there was so much going on and then it went from being a little messy (S4) to a total horrible disaster (S5-6 except for maybe bloodwork).
A nonspeedster villain would be nice to shake things up and the comics have madr it work. It's just the writters and showtunners don't know how.
I want the integrity of the the first season.. Just Cisco Caitlin Harrison Wells in the lab, and Joe outside.. May be...just may be Ralph Dibney because he's alright..
And I need a plot.. I was so engrossed in the episodes.. The one that could not have a magic solution overnight.. Where things might mean something and that consequence stayed.. But I don't relate to The Flash anymore.. I am watching it out of courtesy more than anything else.. If the show does not care for it's characters.. How will I see any growth.. I am tired and I am bored.. With the endless speeches.. With the same people saying the same thing to each other in circles.. Fine I get it you are important.. You are part of team.. Cisco was my favourite character in season one.. He was scared of Harrison.. He was worried, at the same time excited about his work.. His inventions made him proud.. His insecurities made him grounded.. His love for Caitlin and respect for Wells.. They are all lost.. Now he is a snooty scientist who will only shout at people around him without reason.. May be there's a few good episodes with him.. But most of them have him belittling others or being upset.. He isn't happy.. It's not even a character growth thing.. He just.. Exists..
I wish I had the earlier Cisco.. The one who got jealous of Hartley.. The one who wanted to prove to Harrison he was something.. The one who had insight..

I get what your saying 100% it really feels like many characters have stagnated in growth. With Cisco I feel like the problem is that because whe have so many characters that we dont get to see him gradually develop do his change seem to be out of nowhere. I dont think we should go back to season 1 Cisco, but show more of his development at front and center. But that's just my opinion.

I 100% disagree season 4 and season 5 are the worst. Season 3 wasn't good either. Season 1 and 2 were amazing so it's hard to top that. Ramsey was great and mirror mistress was whatever but better than cicada and shecada. Savitar was also pretty bad. I do have to admit that the characters in the second part of the season the characters felt meh. It is true that they gave too much importance to the supporting characters.
I agree that objectively I thinks season 5 was worse, but season 6 annoys me in a different way. I didn't feel like Eva had a huge connection with Barry and it made me care less about her. Season 4 while way too campy did have a solid villain in devo that challenge Barry in a new way.

I have 2 more episodes to watch so I'm hope they will wrap it up nicely at least but my expectations are low.

Those were the worst 19 episodes I've ever fucking seen. There was so much happening but it all literally went no where. Chester was my favorite new character they introduced and then he is just gone with no explanation as to what happened to his character or maybe I missed it idk because like I said there is so much happening in each episode I started to forget what the fuck was happening. They save nobody but each other this whole fucking season. Like I would have rather just had a villain trying to destroy the world again than this bullshit with eva wanting to kill her husband. They totally wasted bloodwork he had some of the best parts of the whole season and the actor who plays him is phenomenal. Some of the writing can be so great at times and other times I find myself saying the characters lines before they say them because it's just that fucking predictable and cheesy... even the worst seasons of smallville and arrow combined weren't worse than this... I honestly could keep ranting about this but they didnt give a fuck enough to make a coherent enjoyable 6th season so I really dont give a fuck to keep talking about this abomination of a show at this point.

i can barely watch season 6b i even skipped a few episodes and didn't feel like i missed something. Eva is not enough for a main villain she's only like a villain of the week type of villain. Its really hard to watch a female villain its either they're emotionally unstable that cries out of nowhere or they want to get revenge from their ex.
Yeah the season felt like a whole waste of time, Eva will probably go down as one of The Flash's worst season.

Season 2: leave it how it was
Season 3: First 5 episodes of flashpoint then he meets savatar. Barry and iris DON’T get together. Take out the grod 2 parter. Have savatar kill Julian as a sacrifice in order to protect Caitlin. Have savatar fight Barry “throughout” time. Barry kills savatar instead of iris killing savatar
Season 4: Barry stays in the speed force for like 3 episodes. Iris finds a love interest. Grod is revealed as the main villain. Wally gets cocky about being the better flash since Barry has been gone. Barry comes back like how they actually made it. Grod fights Barry for the first time and then realizes that grod isn’t alone. Barry and the crew go to his home (or jungle whatever u wanna call it) for a 2 parter where Cisco ends up being left behind. Grod finds the velocity x serum and he takes it. Then he gets super speed. The final fight is grodd’s army vs Barry, Cisco, Wally, jay, Ralph, and Caitlin. Ralph and Barry take him down.
Season 5: A time skip happens which is like a couple months. Wally and Jesse move to earth 2. Barry is trying really hard to get with iris, but knows he can’t be with her or else she’ll be in danger. The villain for this season is devoe. Pretty much the same as season 4 minus the first few episodes. Also devoe won’t be switching out of bodies every now and then. Iris finds out she has an older brother named Daniel west. Devoe is killed by his wife.
Season 6: Iris and joe try to look for Daniel without telling the rest of the team. Daniel first seems like a nice guy to everyone, but not for long hehe. The main villain is obviously Daniel west as reverse flash. Wally comes back and also finds out about Daniel west. The team finally meet Daniel where Barry and Daniel don’t see eye to eye on certain things. Daniel reveals that he has super speed and is kicked off the team since Barry is sensing some zoom vibes. Barry meets up with Daniel where they start fighting leaving Barry unconscious. Wally tries to meet up with Daniel, but is asked to team up with him since they’re brothers. Daniel is later on revealed to be sick. Barry learns the truth about the special forces. Where he becomes faster than anyone has ever seen. They fight Daniel and Wally Daniel dying by sickness and Wally is arrested. Then they finally meet Bart. Also Barry and iris start going out.
Season 7: Barry and Bart start to get along, but iris not so much since they’ve only been going out for like a month. The villain for this season and next season will be reverse flash (you’ll see why). Bart tells Barry about the war that’s coming that might kill everyone. This season is more about preparing for the war until the last few episodes where we get to see what thawne’s plans are. Wally is no longer in the cell at star labs. Barry also gets some help from some friends in order to prepare which are Wally, Bart, jay, Jesse, Ralph, Cisco, Caitlin, and the others (but in star labs). Season 7 leaves on a cliffhanger where star labs is being bombed because thawne wants them to have no technology to work with in order to stop him. Thawne’s team is zoom (from a different timeline), grodd (turns out he’s not dead), the rogues, savatar, and Godspeed (who see at the end of season 7). The last episode ends of with all of them being scattered around.
Season 8 (the last one which is only 8 episodes long): This season is mostly about the war where we get to see people turn up yk. Each episode they fight a new villain. The speedsters are obviously against the speedsters and the rogues are against the rest. The war ends at episode 6, but episode 7 is when Barry and reverse flash have their last fight. The last episode is kinda like a nostalgic episode with flashbacks to older episodes. There is a time skip as well 3 years later where Barry is asking iris to marry him. The team kinda split off in their own ways star labs still being the same, but with Bart as the flash of central city. Wally goes to a team he knows about (a little tease at teen Titans) and yeah that’s how it should’ve went!

I was under the impression that the new characters were being introduced to replace old characters looking to either have babies, or do broadway. You did notice Danielle's belly in those last few episodes right? Also, I thought Cisco was taking off to do a little broadway instead of being type cast.
Yeah I think so. Honestly I have no problem with they want to write off those characters, just give them the send off they deserve. Then you can start adding new characters to replace their roles.
You didn’t even give Eva a chance, you made this video when there were only 15 episodes of the season available, so you had no idea how good of a villain Eva could become. And season 6 didn’t even get to finish. You making this video about how horrible season 6 is is unfair.
I understand what you mean, Normally I don't like to jump the gun of videos, but the flash is a show I was and still very passionate about. I didn't have faith of her getting a more moments for me to car about her when there was only 4 episodes left, and while i haven't seen the last two episodes (that is happening sometime this week) i just don't feel like Eva has that impact that other villains had on me. I never felt a feeling of dread or tension and for me that is because the first interaction she had with Barry wasn't until episode 17. So this doesn't really give me the feeling of "yes now its time to take her down". IDK at the end of the day that is just my thoughts, however I'd like to know without any major spoilers, how much of an impact does Eva's plan has in the final two episodes. I would like to know so I can get a feel for what I'm going into and thanks for the comment.

WYDM Season 6 A was Great Bloodwork was actually a great Villain he Turned Barry Bad. Then U had Crisis and it worked great Season 6 B is not bad 6x17 Made the Story Great and it feels like the old flash again.
I agree with u that season 6 A was really good along with crisis. However after that I think the show started to fluster, I haven't seen episode 17 yet, but I dont think 1 or 2 episode can save the season. It can end well but the second half in my opinion is still a mess and needed more focus. I think that just like the first half was about preparing for crisis the second half should have been how they all deal with crisis and I think the season is lacking in that aspect. And Eva is a horrible villain.

7:59 The constant attempts by the show to make Iris seem more important than she is annoy me. Maybe people would like her more if she didn't just exist to be Barry's wife and a damsel in distress and they stopped portraying a total bitch as this kind, caring selfless person. Barry's pretentious shit like "You're my lightning rod Iris" is stupid too. We get it Barry. You got your powers from being struck by lightning. That doesn't mean everyone helping you was metaphorically struck by it too. And in 1 season Barry said there'd be no Flash without Iris and I had to laugh since he was operating as The Flash long before she found out. Then came the infamous Season 4 where Iris the non scientist somehow became the leader of a science based team. And that "We're The Flash" line when all she does is get kidnapped and nearly killed by his enemies.

The Iris fans are the worst. They think people hate her because she's black. They don't. If she was white like comics Iris and acted like she does in the show people would still hate her. Her skin colour and gender aren't people's issue with her. It's the fact that she's just there to be a wife and damsel in distress, treated as if she's really important in Barry's life when all she does is either give him bad motivational speeches or get kidnapped and nearly killed by his enemies, portrayed as this good person when she got Barry and Eddie to fight over her, ruined Barry's relationship with Linda, at the end of Season 3 when Barry went into the Speed Force to save the world all Iris cared about was that he was leaving her and in Season 5 told her husband she didn't care that his worst enemy had killed his mother. The CW think Barry and Iris being a couple in the comics means they have to be one in the show. They don't especially if they're gonna keep portraying their lust as love.

I agree that 6a was great, and 6b does have some good episodes and moments, but my problem comes with that Season 6 feels like a bunch of filler episodes. The only plot we have to tie it all together is Iris being trapped in the mirror dimension and I dont care about that character or Eva as a villain so I'm emotionally checked out for most of the season. I feel like 6b should have had more of a connection to 6a then just the speed force dying. I haven't seen the last few episodes yet, but the show just isn't connecting with me anymore, but I'm glad it's still connecting with you.
This season 6 was awful,terrible,and extremely disappointing.
Some really good points, but I feel like there are still aspects that you forgot to mention. LIke how in post crisis episodes, Cisco is barely mentioned or seen, Caitlin is barely mentioned or seen (that includes killer frost) and its almost like there is no "Team Flash". Just a bunch of side stories with side characters with no inclusion of a main story. As a writer myself, I have studied what makes good stories, and Nothing about season 6 includes that. I felt the balance of black Hole storyline, Ralph’s investigation, and return of reverse flash was amazing. I thought Ramsey was a great villain. Second half of season villains were mediocre but so was Cicada, Devoe, And Savitar.
You have a point. Cicada was pretty bad, and Savitar had a hot of problems, but personally I liked Devo's plan and how Barry had to more or less out smart him rather than fight him.
G.I. Gio I thought this reverse flash reappearance made the most sense in this season (as opposed to every season since 1) as it only happened in post crisis which feels like such a huge universe change that his return seems natural as opposed to all the times it felt forced.

I can still watch season 1&2 episodes repeatedly...its not boring.. but season 3 they distroyed the show after showing who he really was ..and the end was tottal bullshit...but i still like to watch that introduction episode of savitar .in which he shows his full power ...4& 6 i don't want to watch it more than once season 5 i just hate it
