This is an excellent video of a once grand railway station. The architecture of this station is wonderful, and I remember the days of a grand tea room with a log fire on cold winter days and nights. This was the terminus for most interurban trains when very few trains extended to Lithgow. I remember falling asleep on the last train from Central and being woken by the guard here, only to be informed that the next train back was a 3 hour wait and the waiting room and log fire were not available. I certainly didn't fall asleep while waiting because it was 2am and snowing lightly. Thank you for this wonderful video, and I will see you in your next one.

It is a style that frequently comes up at older stations. Unfortunately they have been removed at some of the older stations.
