Great playthrough. My only question is, that 22nd fret fill... isn't that Tom striking behind the nut? He does it on Township Rebellion, and it sounds similar.

@@Seththebot basically you just strum the strings with your pick to the left of the nut. I’ve watched a live vid since recording this and he just does one strum rather than the 4 quick notes on the 22nd fret I’ve tabbed and played here. Much easier than what I’m doing tbh haha!
It depends on what guitar you have. Another way to get that sound exactly is play a harmonic on the g string, 3rd fret.

The part you’re trying to play at 4:05 is played behind the nut. Just rake all the strings.

I was wanting to ask ya about a song Chris Cornell redone .. it’s called ‘ jump into the fire ‘ the album version has a lot of synth going on but he sung it at a Temple of the Dog concert and it sounds , well like a masterpiece.... Is there any other way to play the 10/5 stretch? I find that real hard…
Not as he does, but with the guitar strap up really high it's way easier ;-)
You can fake it with 00001010, not right , but put emphasis on the 1st and 2ond strings and you'll still get the chicks at the back of the room.

An ironically titled song as the band have consistently sided with people who are aggressively removing the working person's freedom. I've always wondered which machine they think they're raging against? Clearly it wasn't the major label media conglomerates that made them unimaginably wealthy...
