I actually love playing Vice, probably my favorite golf balls to play with. I get a lot of crap on the course because people think they are a gimmick but the performance speaks for itself. They are really really good golf balls.
@@fastandyc I have noticed they seem to mark a but more as well. But most of the time I dont keep them long enough to be an issue 🤷🏼♂️😞 So I feel a bit less guilty losing them because of the cost. Mostly I just find them easy to see in the rough, and Also through the air. I like that my ball is usually easy to identify in a group too (neon lime, not lime dip)
I have been playing Vice since they introduced their ball line up. I play the “pro” and absolutely love them. The reason the “drip” is hard to find is because they typically are a limited run but do them periodically. I usually wait for there by 5 and get one free deal a couple times a year load up. Great ball!!! JD
I have more premium golf balls than I'll ever need from finding them on the course over the years, but I find myself continuing to purchase the Vice Pro Soft specifically the lime green. The visibility is outstanding, and performance is top notch. I just restocked my bag with Vice Pro Softs and had 2 holes where I couldn't find my ball on what felt like a good drive and then found them about 20-30 yards further than what I had found myself hitting on those holes with other premium balls. I take advantage of the 6 box discounts from their site.
I tested the Pro Drip blue and red against ProV1 and TP5. I love this ball. It is the ball I now play. For me it performs the same if not a little better. I play in the wind, a lot, and it cuts thru the wind a little better than the other balls as well. Wal Mart now carries these, in the States, so I've been able to get them a little easier.
I scored the deal of a lifetime when my local Walmart got them pre-release and someone didn't know what they were and marked them down to $13 and put them in the clearance aisle. I bought 2. Absolutely awesome balls.
I have played the Pro Plus for the past 2 years. Was preciously a ProV1 player but absolutely love the Vice ball. Nearly same performance and half the cost!
Been playing vice pro plus now for about a year consistently. On trackman data the numbers were just so close to the ProV1. I play the white pro plus and I’ll tell you the drives seem long and the putts and landings are still soft! Every time I see them on the shelves at my local Walmart or Target I snatch a box up!
I love these balls, and play them especially in tournaments, as I always seem to be the only one playing them. I like the feel, and hit them well around the greens. I also seem to be able to make them last without scuffing them up for a while.
I used to play the Vice pro until they really put thier prices up. Switched over Seed. They were often not available and no longer offer a price advantage. For me at least they have lost the edge they had. They do occasionally offer free printing which is neat.
Cool! Glad to see my fav golf brand getting some love. James, I have many many dozen of all the drip colors. I can share a sleeve of each for you to play/collect. Cheers 🍻
I bought them with the deal buy 5 get 1 free . I went with the pro+ in the orange yellow shade ... loved them . Trying the kirkland now to see if there is a big difference
I’ve played vice balls for years, the only issue I had with the pro was that the cover was a bit dull and got dirt stained very easily compared to the very white covers of the pro+, pro v1, chrome soft etc. it also made it harder to find as it didn’t reflect the light as much.
when I was testing balls, I played the Vice Pro against the Pro-V1 and found the results to be nearly identical. And at $28 a dozen, it was a no brainer. Now that they've released the Shade versions, the high vis option makes me like them even more.
The pro plus drip has been sold out for a while. The pro is still in stock, however, it does feel a lot softer off the face. Not for me, but maybe someone else likes a softer chromsoft feel
I've played vice for maybe e years, love them. The alignment on them is great and had the red drip and were class. Shame I put them OB one too many times 🤣🤣
Been playing Vice Pro Plus in red for about 2 years now. Soooooo good. I but 6 box’s at a time, so it comes out to like $1.75 a ball, but you gotta buy multiple box’s at one time
I’ve played Vice golf balls and they are solid. My favorite golf ball was discontinued. For 3-4 years I played the Bridgestone B330rx. For my game it was the best. I know supposedly the Tour B series Rx is the same as the b330 they discontinued but I’m not fully sold on that
played these for 2 days this week. absolutely loved them on the woods and the irons. on the wedges I couldn't feel it on the face and putting it felt really light. I will stick with the chrome soft and chrome soft x. I just can't live with those greenside wedge shots feeling that way.
I've exclusively played the Drips for about 2 years. I prefer the "Pro" instead of Pro Plus or Pro Soft. So I've had the Blue and Reds for a while. I also stumbled across a limited edition "Masters" version on a random pro shop. They are Green and Yellow Pro Drips. All you need to do is sign up for Vice e-mail notifications for when they come back in stock, then buy the 5. I've never had a stocking issue when I've gone to look after getting an update about a re-stock. Following the Vice Instagram would likely also work with timing.
I play the vice pro. I love them. I tend to buy them secondhand on eBay for like $30 for 3 dozen. Stock up every couple months. Last lot I bought was 82 for $35
I've played the Vice Pros for years. The lime green is easy to see. I pay the drips, and buy them 6 dozen at a time when they have the buy 5 dozen get one free sale. Works out to about $25 a dozen. I do catch a little ribbing for buying balls with paint splattered on them. It's worth it :)
i use these exclusively, i love them, in any color, i stock up all winter when i see them at the store! the pro and pro soft seem to be no different btw, at least in my experience, i love them both!
I tried the zero and soft, I have a pretty high swing speed (I am no berkshire) and I notice a big difference. I have to use the pro or pro plus personally.
@@thesetzers8952 i average about 110-115 and i really notice no difference between them, however ive never sat and hit them side by side, i just have a mixture in my bag and go back and fourth as i grab them. they both seem to give me the same results. my misses are still my fault, not the balls haha
I have been using the Vice Pro Plus for about 4 years now (just the standard white ones). I have never had an issue getting the standard white balls. I used to be a pro v fan boy until I tried the Pro Plus and I wouldn't go back. There is only really a saving over Pro V if you buy them in bulk, but the ball itself is amazing. I would advise any one to try the Pro or the pro plus. I am a cat 1 golf (less than 5hcp) and I find that low handicappers / elite golfers get too wed to mainstream manufacturers balls (most dominantly the Pro V1). Take a chance a try something new. They are great.
I play the vice balls (the pro plus version for some lower spin). 7.2 handicap The green drips are my favourite design, whenever they are in stock If I have 1 dozen or less, I grab 5 dozen to have on hand. The other colours do not show up as much as the green ones.
We are fortunate here in US where i live to have these balls in the golf section at Walmart stores. I have been using them since last summer with no issues finding any in stock.
I played this ball all summer. I think I got mine on Amazon in March ish. They are fantastic and the performance is right up there with the top brands.
I play pro plus after playing V1 for years Vice goes further and just as straight but with less spin Very impressed with my vice and won’t be changing anytime soon One thing I’ve noticed is vice comes out “hot” if you middle them.
I play exclusively vice. I’m a beginner so I usually play the tours, but I got a box of the pros and shots around the green were so nice. The paint splatter designs also make distinguishing balls super easy
I absolutely love Vise pro balls. I have them print my logo on them and give them to customers, they all love them as well. I buy in bulk and get them in two weeks or less. Walmart has drips all the time here.
I found one of these on my local golf course! I assume they couldn't see their own ball, because it was still in very good condition. Not a bad ball for the price vs. a ProV1!
Been playing the pro plus. Only issue I have is cover durability compared to the pro v1. Vice definitely marks up easier. Very comparable otherwise at a much better price.
I used to play them for the past few years, but since about March I’ve been playing the Kirkland’s. Imo the Kirkland’s are a much better value. But I’m blessed because these stay in stock at my local Walmart.
I've been playing the Vice pro plus for a few years now and it's the best feeling low launch low spin ball out there. The only ball comparable is the new AVX. The Wilson triad is close but a little firm in the short game.
Started using them after receiving as a gift. Love the the lime green Pro. Play very much like the original Pro V 1. Would buy them when they come back in stock
I actually picked up a dozen at Walmart (red/blue drip) for $35 +tax. The last box on the shelf. They do look cool 😎 I hope they play as good as they look. $35 is much better than $50 for the ProV that’s for sure.
I live on a golf course and get a lot of balls in my yard. I get the ProV1 ball more than ten times the nearest other brand. The Vice ball may be a good ball and may be selling well, but I doubt it is the ProV1 killer.
Yes yes yes!!! The Vice pro drip is for all intents and purposes the same as the standard Vice pro. I have been singing their praises for some time now. The new generation of Vice balls are pretty much the cats whiskers!!! Been playing them exclusively for a couple of years now. TXG boys have tested them extensively. Second choice for me is the Snell MTB black, but it’s just a tad less durable. And supply is a problem with them also. I guess I better grab 5 dozen Vice pro real quick before they sell out now. Geee THANKS ROBBO!!!
Vice make some great balls for the money. Cheaper off their website when you order multiple dozen. But I believe the pro is a 3 piece ball. The pro plus is the 4 piece.
You’re lucky you got them James!! I’ve tried here in Canada and they never seem to be available to us. Love the video. I’d like to see what Christopher thinks of them.
In the States we can buy the drip at Walmart. I use and love the ball. I've played Pro V1 for years and at my level I can't tell a difference in performance. Love the content so keep it up. If you ever find yourself in Alabama hit the Robert Trent Jones trail ...it's fantastic.
Hey if you need any of them, my local Walmart literally has boxes of them on the shelves! I wonder if it’s just a UK thing? I also live next to my local Municipal course and every night I walk my dogs we always find a bunch of golf balls and I’ve found around a 1-2 dozen over this summer, got blue and green and a red and blue
Vice Pros are a great ball…. They sell them at Walmart here in the states so they are more available …. I do find they scuff up a bit after a few holes but they still keep their performance so I keep using them till I lose them 😂 You featured a ball a month or so ago… Maxfli Tour CG …. performance is similar but they are a little cheaper and I like the GG alignment … so now I play those instead 👍👍
I think they are to expensive. But I love the look of the vice. Best looking golfboll but I still loose to many per round (ok avrage maby 2 per round) for it to be worth spending that much on golf balls. This year I have played chrome soft since it has been on sale all year long here in sweden. I have bought them for around 26£ here. We just got out first costco here so I bought a pack of kirkland and will try that aswell. They had them on sale for 18£ for 24 balls. So cant wait to test them in the trackman vs chrome.soft and Pro v1 with my swing and se if there is really any difference.
Actually found one of these on the course today. Didn’t play with it though. (I was playing like hammered dog s#it and didn’t want to lose it on one swing) Looking forward to trying it out though.
I've seen the speckled Vice pro drip golf ball at Walmart(?). I wish I had bought a dozen or two but I had 3 dozen green Vice pro balls in the locker. After watching your review next time I see them I'll purchase a dozen. Fun review and some good ball striking on your part.
Hello, Used to play the z star, til it went to a premium price. 10 handicapper, I lose probably dozen balls per yr. With my game I can get by useing mid $30 range balls. Right now, can't figure out and it a toss up between the snell and the vice. Vice is a little cheaper because of shipping. Like them alot even over the new maxfli. Differently a eye catcher.
I play the pro-plus in lime or white. It's nearly identical to the TP5x I played for years, just as good near the greens, and to me feels even better on the putter. It's already been shown in plenty of videos that driver/long iron is nearly identical as well. So, bottom line, half the price with all the performance is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
Walmart sells them in the US for $29.99-$34.99 a dozen. Been playing the red and blue drip this whole season. The only ball that feels better of the face for me is the TP5X.
I have used pro v1 for a long time. Vice has a ten pack, two of each of their models. On course I hit the titleist and then a vice ball. For me the Vice Tour model was 15 yds longer with driver and 7-8 yds longer with irons. Three piece ball was excellent around the green. Bonus was quite durable. 5 dozen are $95. If you could would you compare it to pro v1 on your simulator? Thanks James
I actually love playing Vice, probably my favorite golf balls to play with. I get a lot of crap on the course because people think they are a gimmick but the performance speaks for itself. They are really really good golf balls.
I think this are the best balls on the market play with them for two years now and they are perfect! I play the lime colour.
Love the limes too👍
Agreed! My ball of choice. I play all Drip colors in the Vice Pro.

I've seen the speckled Vice pro drip golf ball at Walmart(?). I wish I had bought a dozen or two but I had 3 dozen green Vice pro balls in the locker. After watching your review next time I see them I'll purchase a dozen. Fun review and some good ball striking on your part.

Lots of other colors online. If you're in the US, you can often find the lime drip at Walmart.
My walmart has boxes of them all the time. I like how they look haha
Hello,
Used to play the z star, til it went to a premium price.
Looks like the Vice Golf website just reloaded. Go get ‘em!
I'd love to get the vice pro grip in yellow speckled. I played with someone who played the regular vice pro and it was a good ball.
Put it under a uv light it's like it's black but then the green glows up crazy
Found one of the green splatter ones on the golf course last week, not hit it yet
I use pro soft drip or standard pro soft for 1 year. Really good golf balls 😀. Pro isn’t for my swing speed.

I play vice pro plus great ball they have been in the bag for 2 years
They have them at my Walmart. Right there on the shelf.
I exclusively play with these. You can get them at any Walmart almost never sold out
They are also available in Walmart and Target stores for $35 dollars.
That is where I go.
3 minutes in and just ordered the red and blue pros, 34 USD, in stock delivery Nov 1st.
