I will never laugh at you nor will ever make fun of your welds. I appreciate your hard work and enthusiasm to get the job done. You're a good example to us, the young generation. God bless you and your hard work and most of all thank you for sharing your experience to educate others. 👍🏻

I'm no expert, but I'd recommend extending your top link out longer, (don't make it so long it rips apart) the shape of the ripper is made to hook into the ground the heel of ripper should be more level with the ground. If you get the angle adjusted right it and in the right ground conditions it can actually suck it in ground. Hope that helps if you haven't figured it out already!

I’ve come to that exact conclusion. I’m really more interested in the clean out at this point. But you are certainly right. I may have to cut the ripper bracket off the three point hitch( or weld another plate above the existing one) so I can travel with the attachment.

It rides about 5” off the ground and I often have to travel on the highway.

@@kcjilly2515 I totally understand or maybe pull pin out and just raise shank above your box and stick pin back in to be a travel position. Watched the second video look like your making good progress!

I love it! I just bought a Kubota and have so many ideas to DIY for the 3 point! Awesome! This will be one of them!!

The three point hitch works great. The ripper plow attachment is a bit much 😂. Sure saved me lots of shoveling on that job and I used it again to dig a big pit🤷🏼‍♂️

If you were working close to the house, fill a 55 gallon drum of water and soak the ditch about 20 minutes before you want to work. That ripper will go through it all like butter. Its always easier to dig a ditch in our Ozarks soil after a rain. Most folks don't even plant a tree until after a good rain. For all the haters... "It ain't stupid if it works!"

Makes sense! I do that before I till my garden. Makes a world of difference. No hate here😉

Why not just use a bottom plow or turn plow?

A better idea for sure. I have never seen a plow in my life until I made this monstrosity. I’m actually going to cut the ripper attachment and weight off eventually and use the rest as a quick 3 point hitch. I was poor, uneducated, and needed to get something done 🤷🏼‍♂️

That dude is getting too heavy to be flipping over 😬. I’ll figure something out as soon as I grow up.
