Wow! Just what I was looking for. I was starting to seriously regret buying my 1 point wheelhorse. Now I can buy / create implements to do more than just cut grass and push gravel and loose dirt. TYVM
Dude i just finally found the correct size drive belt for my gt6000. An now im looking for what all attachments went for these little beasts. After seeing this i might just make what i need. Awesome demonstration. Thanks man
If you weld a 6-in bar on top of your latch going straight up and then tie the rope to the top of it that'll give you a more leverage and save you on ropes. Probably make it easier to open too. At any rate awesome setup. I wouldn't mind having something like that around
Just bought my 1995 Gt6000 18hp Kohler w 6 spd hi/low in good cond for 100 bucks! ! I was worried because its missing the bottom triangle of the sleeve hitch. However you solved my problem! Thank You!!!!
Instead of a hand crank I'd put an electric motor on it. Probably something like a windshield wiper motor. They are 12v with gear reduction and usually variable speed. Should be easy enough to mount then add sprockets and chain.
Love your stuff !! Just found you and instantly subscribed. Did you say your GT6000 has a Roper transaxle ? I just watched your tug of war video and you said it had a Peerless 633. Did you swap out at some point ? Did you do a video ?
@@redneckcomputergeek Was the Peerless/Roper 633 original to your Craftsman GT6000 ? I'm looking for a trans with hi/low for my Craftsman but not sure how to figure out which old models have this.
Question I’m doing a winch in my gt6000 to operate my craftsman dozer plow as well do I need to cut my plow like you or can I just not have it continued to implement lever handle linkage
Time to modify that rear winch and 1pt hitch. Put a pulley on the crank rod where the handle attaches and move your winch to the top of the 1pt hitch and now you've got remove work on the fly.
I’ve got chains on my cub cadet. Put them on to mow my field with a pull behind brush hog and just left the chains on cuz they helped a lot with traction anywhere. Highly recommend.
I know this was a little while ago when this comment was posted, but if you still are having trouble I would suggest going to a steel pan seat from an older garden tractor. I put one on my 1844 mtd and it worked great.
What would be you suggestions for breaking ground on a old gravel driveway with really compact soil.. almost all gravel is gone Really over grown Hasn't had much love in years. Suggestions so I don't waste my money 💰

Thx, buddy! You just gave me solutions and inspiration to build stuff to my lawnmover. I absolutely ❤️ this! Joa in Sweden.
I was actually most impressed with the unit you built out of a hot water tank. You remind me a lot of myself 👍👍

It's a 633A Roper but at one point was supported by Peerless. Now all support for them is discontinued.

Would you consider that a tractor and not a lawn mower
What part of Maine do you live in? I lived in Newport just off of rt7 good job putting your stuff together!
Do you find that those chains help your turf tires grip? I’m debating on ordering chains for mine. Thanks!
